I left home early on Friday morning. I needed to see Lizzy first at the bank where she works. She introduced me to some policies. I intend to take on the policy.
I was directed to Lizzyโs office. On my way down the banking hall, I ran into my lodge mate back in school.
โItโs a lieโฆBola!โ I couldnโt believe my eyes.
โPamilerin!โ she called out and we hugged each other.
โWhat are you doing here?โ I asked
โI work here, an IT student (Industrial Training)
โWow! Bola Iโm so happy for you. Iโm glad you did not give up on yourself.
โThanks, I got an admission a year later when I left school and here I amโ
โCongrats dear, the downfall of a man, is never the end of a man. How are your parents?โ
โThey are fine, when we got home that day, they never stopped talking about youโ
โReally, Iโm sorry I lost your contactโ
โPamilerin! I almost gave up but I held on to your advice and make up my mind to be a better personโ

โI came to see a friend for official and unofficial
mattersโ I said smiling.

โThe Loan officer! Sheโs my Boss, I work under her. Iโll lead you to her officeโ
Bola tapped the door lightly and opened the door she let me in first.
โGood morning bankerโ I said with a smile.
โYou finally show up, thank God for midterm break. Good morning dearestโ Lizzy stood up from her seat and hugged me.
โPlease have your sitโ she offered.
โThanks. Howโs your hubby and your little man?โ I asked referring to David, Lizzyโs son.
โThey are fine, both of them are now 5 and 6โ
โThatโs good, I like thatโ
โBola thanks for bringing her in, you can leave nowโ Lizzy said
โBola is my friend, I ran into her on my way down hereโ I informed her.
โReally, I thought she just led you to my officeโ she said innocently.
โBola is a friend I lost contact with, my coming here today really worth itโ
โHappy reunion thenโ Lizzy said smiling.
โThat reminds me, Bola let me have your contactโ I said
We exchanged numbers. While Lizzy was busy with some paper works.
โLizzy, me I need a favor oโ
She looked up โLetโs hear itโ
โPlease help me retain Bola after her IT. At least you want to help me secure a job here but I declined because I donโt like banking jobsโ
โSo you want to do change by batter, right?โ she said laughing.
โWhatever, just help me pleaseโฆโ

โThank youโ Bola and I chorused. She was so happy.
โNow back to businessโ Lizzy said
โYes, official mode activatedโ I said jokingly.
โBola please make some coffee for your your friendโ
โAlright maโ she said and prepared the coffee.
โIโm not in charge of the policy program but Iโll take you to the person in chargeโ Lizzy stated while I was sipping my coffee.
โOk, can we leave once Iโm done with the coffee?โ

โCos Iโm still going to Danielโs placeโ
โYou mean his office?โ
โNo, the mansionโ
โHeโs not going to work?โ she asked surprised
โItโs like we are both on midterm breakโ I said and we laughed.
