Caroline was so annoyed when she sighted Jesse coming with her daughter.
“What nonsense is this, look at the little rat wearing a flower gown is she the one on a date?”
“Hi Caroline, meet my daughter; Udeme” Jesse introduced.
“Hello little princess”
Udeme threw herself at her, hugging her tightly
“Awwwn you have a friendly daughter.”
“Thanks what would you girls like to take, as for me I’m going for a cup of ice cream”
“I like that too Daddy, chocolate please”
“And you Caroline?”
“I want something hot”
“Alcohol??”
“Yes!” daughter and father marveled at her choice.
“Dad I think that’s a big red flag you should not ignore, she’s a drunkard,” Udeme said as they journeyed back home.
“She likes you and that is all that matters, I don’t want to marry someone who will maltreat you”
“Then I hope she’s not pretending.” Udeme sighed.
“Dad, I will be going to a competition in weeks time I need a coach.”
“Have they not been doing that in your school?”
“They have but I need a personal coach.”
“Then I will have to inform my friends if they can help me get someone”
“No, my class teacher is capable of doing that she will be coming home to teach me after school hours”
“Meaning I will have to follow you to school tomorrow so I can discuss it with her. Anything for you my baby” He pecked her

Jesse was in his office when Caroline bashed in.
“You should knock before entering”
“I thought we are in a relationship”
“Even though”
“Are you a cheater” she looked under the table to see if someone is hiding there?
“Are you done? Anyways you are looking good. Come to Daddy” He stretched his arms for a hug.
“I won’t do that, it will serve as a punishment for bringing your daughter to our date night.”
“Oh, I’m sorry about that, she insisted on following me”
“That’s because she’s an interferer”
“She’s my daughter” He answered angrily
“Is not up to that, she’s also my daughter but I think she’s too clingy” She went closer to him rubbing his head. “How about spending the weekend at your place?”
Jesse’s face lighted up
“I’ll appreciate that”
Days after, Caroline drove into Jesse’s compound she told his guard to take her luggage into the house.
“Good evening madam please you have not introduced yourself”
“I’m Caroline, Oga’s wife.”
Jesse walked out after hearing her voice.
“Okon, Let her in”
“Ok Oga, you did not tell me you are married.”
He opened the boot and began to offload her luggage.
“Caroline, what’s the meaning of this? He said pointing at the luggage. “You told me you are coming to spend the weekend with me, so what’s all this bag and baggage”
“Weekend to forever,” she said and walked in majestically.
“Aunty Caroline” Udeme ran to hug her, but she pushed her away, staring enviously at her lesson coach
“Who is she?”
“She’s my teacher?”
“Good afternoon” Miss Mercy greeted but Caroline ignored
“Madam where I go put the load,” Okon asked
“Put it on my head, fool!”
She sat on the cushion and crossed her leg, “Udeme get me a glass of juice.”
“You can see she’s studying” Jesse cut in “stand up let me take you round the house.”
