EPISODE 5
The next day, which is Saturday, Jessica arrived at Dave’s house with her luggage. The security guard asked who she is, she claimed to be Isabella’s sister. The guard tried to call Isabella and Dave using the landline, but Isabella is busy in the kitchen and didn’t hear the phone ringing. Dave had come home late from work the previous day and was still sleeping in his room. Meanwhile, Dave Junior is watching cartoons in the living room. Jessica told the security guard that he is keeping her waiting and threatened to get him fired. The guard apologized and let her into the house to meet Isabella.
As Jessica walked into the house, she saw Dave Junior sitting on the couch, mesmerized by the cartoon on TV. She smiled sweetly and approached him.
“Hello, darling. Do you remember me? I’m your mother, Jessica,” she said, trying to sound as convincing as possible.
Dave Junior looked up at her, confused. “You’re not my mom. My mom is in the kitchen,” he said firmly.
Jessica’s face fell, but she quickly regained her composure. “Oh, sweetie, I know this may be confusing, but I am your real mother. Isabella is just a friend who’s been taking care of you,” she explained, trying to sound convincing.
Just then, Isabella walked into the room, unaware of the drama unfolding. “Dave Junior, what’s going on here?” she asked, noticing Jessica in her home.
Jessica turned to face Isabella, a sly grin spreading across her face. “Well, well, well. Look what we have here. The woman who’s been playing mother to my son,” she said, her voice dripping with malice.
Isabella’s eyes narrowed, her instincts on high alert. “Who are you, and what do you want?” she demanded, trying to stay calm.
Jessica chuckled, her eyes gleaming with triumph. “You know exactly who I am, Isabella. I’m Jessica, Dave’s woman, and the mother of this precious boy,” she said, her hand on Dave Junior’s shoulder.
Isabella quickly pulled Dave Junior away from Jessica and asked him to go upstairs, which he did. As they were having a confrontation, Dave heard them and came downstairs. Jessica saw him and quickly ran to hug him, but Dave pushed her away, asking, “Who are you? What are you doing in my house? How did you find my address?” Jessica replied, “It’s me, Jessica, your baby, the mother of your child. I’ve realized my mistake and I’m back now to right all my wrongs. We can be one happy family, me, you, and our son.”
Dave’s expression turned cold as he looked at Jessica. “You’re not welcome here,” he said firmly. “You abandoned us, and now you’re back expecting everything to be okay? It doesn’t work that way.”
Jessica’s face fell, but she quickly regained her composure. “I know I made mistakes, Dave, but I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make it right. I want to be a part of your life and our son’s life again.”
Isabella stepped forward, her eyes blazing with anger. “You don’t deserve to be a part of his life after what you did. You’re not even worthy of being called a mother.”
Jessica’s eyes narrowed, and she sneered at Isabella. “You think you’re so perfect, don’t you? But you’re just a replacement mother, a substitute for the real thing. And soon, Dave will realize that.”
Dave’s face turned red with anger. “Enough, Jessica. You’re not welcome here, and you’re not going to manipulate us with your lies and games. Leave now, and don’t come back.”
As Dave and Jessica faced off, Dave wrapped his arm around Isabella’s waist, pulling her close. “Isabella is my wife, Jessica. I don’t need you anymore.” he declared, his voice firm.
But before Jessica could respond, Isabella suddenly felt a wave of nausea wash over her. She pulled away from Dave, her hand covering her mouth, and rushed to the bathroom. Dave’s expression changed from anger to concern as he followed her, calling out, “Isabella, what’s wrong?”
Isabella slammed the bathroom door shut behind her and leaned over the toilet, vomiting v!0lently. Dave’s worry grew as he heard her retching, and he knocked on the door, asking, “Isabella, are you okay? Do you need me to get you something?”
“I’m fine,” she replied, her voice weak.
Dave helped her out of the bathroom and back to the living room, his arm supporting her.
Jessica’s eyes blazed with anger as she rushed over to Dave and Isabella. She tried to pull Dave’s arm away from Isabella, shouting, “Isabella, you should be ashamed of yourself! Of all the men in the world, you had to get involved with my Dave?”
She began hurling !nsults at Isabella, but Dave quickly stepped in, his face firm. “Enough, Jessica!” he commanded, pushing her away. “Get out of my house, now!”
for a moment, Jessica looked defeated. But then, a sly grin spread across her face. “This isn’t over, Dave. I’ll be back, and next time, you won’t be so lucky.”
After Jessica’s dramatic exit, Isabella’s vomiting persisted, and Dave’s concern deepened. He quickly drove her to the hospital, where a series of tests revealed unexpected news: Isabella is pregnant! Dave’s face lit up with pleasure, and he couldn’t contain his excitement. Right there in the hospital room, he started dancing, his feet moving to an imaginary beat. Tears of happiness streaming down his face, he exclaimed, “We’re having another baby! We’re expanding our family!”
