Title: Torn Between Love and Hate
Episode 6: A Woman Reborn

Amaka had finally made a decision—she would no longer live in the shadows of Obinna’s hatred. For years, she had devoted herself to being a good wife and mother, only to be treated like she didn’t exist.

But now, she had her business. She had a purpose beyond her marriage.

Her fabric shop was growing, and with Emeka’s help, she found new suppliers and better quality materials. He had become a good friend, offering advice and encouragement, something she had been starved of for years.

One afternoon, as she arranged her shop, a woman in a sleek car parked in front. She stepped out, stylish and confident.

“You’re the famous Madam Amaka I keep hearing about?” the woman asked with a smile.

Amaka blinked in surprise. “I don’t think I’m famous, but yes, I am Amaka.”

The woman laughed. “Well, you should be! My name is Mrs. Adanma Eze. I own a fashion house in Abuja, and I’ve been hearing about your quality fabrics. I’d love to work with you.”

Amaka’s heart pounded. A big opportunity like this was beyond what she had imagined.

They discussed business, and before the woman left, she said, “You have great potential, Amaka. And by the way, you carry yourself like a woman who is finally waking up to her own worth. Don’t let anything dim that light.”

That evening, when Amaka returned home, she felt different—lighter, more confident.

Obinna noticed.

He watched as she hummed softly while making dinner, something she hadn’t done in years. She was glowing, her face radiant with excitement.

“What’s making you so happy?” he asked, his voice laced with suspicion.

Amaka looked up at him, her eyes calm. “I got a business deal today. A big one.”

Obinna frowned. “With who?”

“Mrs. Adanma Eze. She owns a fashion house in Abuja.”

Obinna scoffed. “And you think you can handle that?”

Amaka smiled. “I know I can.”

For the first time, Obinna felt uneasy. This was not the same woman who used to cry over his coldness.

She was changing.

And for the first time in years, he wondered—was he losing her?

Episode 7: The Rise of Amaka

Amaka’s life was transforming before her eyes. What had started as a small fabric business was now attracting wealthy clients. She traveled to Abuja to meet Mrs. Adanma Eze, and to her surprise, the woman introduced her to top designers who wanted exclusive fabric deals.

For the first time in years, Amaka felt alive—respected, valued, and independent.

She returned home from Abuja, dressed in an elegant gown, looking radiant. As she stepped into the house, she met Obinna in the living room.

His eyes darkened as he took in her appearance.

“Where have you been?” he asked, trying to sound casual, but his voice betrayed him.

“Abuja,” she replied smoothly, placing her handbag on the table.

“For what?”

She smiled, sitting down. “Business.”

Obinna clenched his jaw. “Business that keeps you away from your children?”

Amaka let out a small laugh. “Our children are well taken care of. Or is it that you’re just angry that I’m no longer begging for your attention?”

His eyes flashed with something—anger, jealousy, regret? He stood up, pacing. “So, this is who you’ve become? Running around with strangers, pretending to be a big woman?”

Amaka’s patience snapped. She stood, facing him. “Pretending? No, Obinna. I am a big woman. I built this business from nothing while you ignored me like I didn’t exist. Now that I’m doing well, you suddenly care?”

Obinna scoffed. “And I suppose that childhood friend of yours, Emeka, is part of this new life?”

Amaka smirked. “If he is, does it bother you?”

Silence.

Obinna couldn’t deny it—he was bothered. He had spent years resenting Amaka, believing she had nowhere else to go, that she would always remain the quiet, submissive woman waiting for his approval.

But now, she was a woman reborn.

And he was no longer the center of her world.

For the first time, fear crept into Obinna’s heart. Was he losing Amaka for good?
