Episode 9
All of Miriam’s in-laws worked against her getting married to Tony. And for some reason, Miriam started withholding her plans. When the pressure became too much, she brought the matter to Tony…
“My látẹ́ husband’s family are on my neck. I don’t even know what to do, they said they won’t let me remarry because it is disrespectful to my látẹ́ husband” she said
Tony looked at her…
“Is that why you’ve been opposing our recent plans? Look, those people have no say in your life, you’re done with them. The only thing linking you and them together is the children so please cheer up and live your life okay”
Miriam still looked worried, and Tony asked her if there was any problem…
“It’s…it’s still my in-laws, I know how troublesome they are and if I don’t succumb to their will, they will go fẹ́tíṣh. They’ll start using bláçk màɠíç to torment me”
Tony was dumbfounded. He was really surprised at how crúẹ́l Miriam’s in-laws were but he was still determined to get married to Miriam because of the love he had for her.
The following week, Miriam’s in-laws sent her a warning to breakup with Tony and cut all ties with him. She ignored them and stayed in the relationship
But then Miriam started having strange dreams where she saw small dwarves, strange looking creatures and sometimes her látẹ́ husband appeared to her in the dream. They tormented her for a whole week and stopped.
Her in-laws didn’t bother her again for weeks and it was as if they decided to let her be. Sandra started visiting Miriam regularly, and anytime she visited, she would stylishly ask of Tony. Miriam would also use style to divert the question and change the topic
MirIam suspected a foul intention because of how Sandra always stared at Tony anytime she met him in the house and Miriam eventually stopped Tony from coming to her house…
“Anytime we need to see, we will find somewhere else to meet, I’m no longer comfortable with what is going on” Miriam told him that afternoon
Tony was cool with it. And when Sandra noticed that Tony was no longer coming to the house, she stopped visiting. That confirmed Miriam’s suspicions.
Few days after all these happened, Miriam’s first child, David was rushed to the hospital from school…
“He was screaming for minutes, saying that there were strange creatures and dwarves all around the class, then he passed out” the teacher explained as Miriam arrived the school
Miriam had to take her other children to the hospital to stay till David regained consciousness
Tony came to see them at the hospital. He also had something important to discuss with Miriam so he found a way to keep the kids distracted and spoke up urgently…
“I want to ask you something, that lady that usually visits you anytime I’m around, is she your sister or something? Like, who is she to you?”
Miriam was confused…
“Why the question?” She asked
“Just answer please, I want to confirm something”
“Okay, she’s Sandra, my sister-in-law”
“Hmm, this is really unbelievable”
“What is it?”
“Ever since the first day she met me at your house, she has been bugging me with calls and messages asking for us to date. I don’t even know how she got my number. And yesterday, she texted again saying that before I get married to you, a lot would happen”

©️ After hearing what Tony said, Miriam was dumbfounded. She initially thought that her mother-in-law was the main ẹ́ñẹ́mƴ but no, it was Sandra
She made up her mind to avoid Sandra entirely from then on. She then returned her focus on the main matter on ground.
Her son, David was still on the hospital bed, yet to regain consciousness. The doctor said it was temporary and he would eventually wake up as they had done what was necessary
Tony stayed with them till nightfall and Miriam started panicking because they had spent hours there and David had not still woken up. She called the doctor into the ward…
“Please what is going on? My son has not woken up since afternoon when he was rushed here. You keep telling me he will wake up and till now nothing has happened. Please do something, I can’t lose that child” Miriam told the doctor
“Madam please calm down, I have done everything that is meant to be done. We just need to wait for him to respond and I’m sure he will. Just be patient a little” the doctor said
“Doctor this your talk is not convincing at all, please do something, wake my child up, just do som…”
Miriam stopped her sentence abruptly because she heard something. It was like a whisper…
“Mummy” she heard again.
It was David, he had woken up. Everyone gathered around the bed immediately and started asking questions of concern, especially Miriam, who was already crying…
“My baby, are you okay?”
“How are you?”
“How are you feeling?”
“Are you hungry?”
Larry even asked his own question innocently… “brother you’ve been sleeping since, you don’t want to wake up so we can go home. Do you like this place more than our house?”
The doctor just smiled and walked to his office
David was eventually discharged the next morning and Miriam started making plans for them to relocate. It will be dangerous for them to continue staying close to Sandra
Miriam sold their house and bought a new one somewhere else with the help of Tony. Then she started preparing to move out
After Miriam’s in-laws noticed that the black powers they used were not having any much effect, they decided to set her up.
Danny who was Miriam’s first lover after her husband’s death came back begging for her forgiveness all of a sudden. He had left her when she became pregnant because he felt she was cheating, but after he heard that the child belonged to her late husband, he came to reconcile…
“It’s too late. I’ve moved on, I’m sorry” Miriam told him
She told him to leave immediately but he refused. Instead he knelt down and gr̃äbbed her, begging aggressively for forgiveness
Just then, there was a knock on the door and Tony walked in. Sandra followed him with a look of mockery on her face
