THE BRIDE’S TEST
EPISODE 4
A month had passed since Bryan’s f@ke accident, Ella had been dedicating most of her time to taking care of him at Mr. David’s house. She had become his primary caregiver, feeding him, helping him to the bathroom, and doing almost everything for him. Her mother’s shop had suffered as a result, but Ella’s love and devotion to Bryan only grew stronger.
However, Bryan began to feel guilty about the charade. He had developed genuine feelings for Ella, and the thought of her discovering the truth and feeling betrayed troubled him. He confided in his father, Mr. David, and expressed his desire to stop the act. But Mr. David was resolute; he wanted to test Ella further.
Mr. David concocted another plan. He told Bryan to pretend he had lost his sight, they would call a doctor to confirm the diagnosis. This would reveal whether Ella’s love and commitment were genuine or not. Bryan hesitated but eventually agreed to go along with the scheme.
The next time Ella visited, Bryan and his father put their plan into action. Bryan pretended to be blind, struggling to see his surroundings. Ella was devastated, thinking that Bryan’s condition had worsened. Mr. David called a doctor, who confirmed the “diagnosis,” and Ella was heartbroken.
As the days passed, Ella continued to care for Bryan, now more than ever. She was determined to support him through this new challenge, unaware of the truth. Bryan’s guilt intensified, but he was trapped in his father’s tests.
Sometimes, Bryan would pretend to be tired and want to give up, but Ella would continue praying with him and assuring him that he would get better. She would encourage him and show him love and care. After three months of the charade, Mr. David told Bryan that it is time to reveal the truth to Ella. He said that only a nice girl who truly loved Bryan could pass all these tests. Mr. David asked Bryan to go visit Ella at her mother’s shop and surprise her.
Bryan was very happy and decided to go surprise Ella at her mother’s shop. He used a car with tinted glass and drove to the shop. When he arrived, he began to roll down the passenger seat window to call out to Ella. But before he could, he saw her standing in front of the shop, hugging another guy and telling him how much she missed him. Hearing these words broke Bryan’s heart. Instead of getting out of the car to surprise Ella, he drove away feeling devastated and heartbroken.
