SISTER ADURAGBEMI
PART 14
BY OJO RHODA AYANFEOLUWA
“Lanre, there is something I will like to tell you.” Sade shouted while trying to meet Lanre who had walked away from her, angrily.
Lanre walked away from her when he wasn’t comfortable with the discussion she tried bringing up about her sister. She told him that her sister wasn’t the right woman for him and many more.
“Brother Lanre, please wait. I want to show you something maybe you will believe me this time.” Sade pleaded.
Lanre had no choice, he waited for her.
“Lanre, I caught your girlfriend with another man. In fact, they hugged each other. I can boldly tell that they are madly in love with each other.
It seems Adura is just trying to deceive you maybe because of the money you have in your account. She doesn’t truly love you. I’m sure that the two of them have been sleeping with each other.” Sade said.
” Are you out of your mind?” Lanre shouted. He couldn’t believe his eyes.
How dare you say what you aren’t sure of? How dare you walk up to me and spill out trash from your disgusting mouth?
” I have my evidence.” Sade announced, silencing Lanre who had been fuming in anger. This time, Sade was wearing a convincing smile.
“I know you are a devil. I won’t continue to waste my time on someone like you. He said as he walked away.
At the spur of the moment, Sade rushed at him, held him roughly and showed him a picture on her phone revealing that moment Femi hugged Adura.
As if soldier ant bite his a*s, he screamed and collected the phone from her hand, checked it over and over to really know if he was actually having faulty eyes.
“Do you now believe that your girlfriend is seeing another person? I suggest you break up with her. She doesn’t deserve your love, attention and care.
Channel all your efforts to a woman who will really appreciate you without having to cheat on you.
In fact, what made you go after someone like her at the first place. Adura of all the ladies you have ever met on campus? Why would you stoop so low for a lame like her? Like, why did you choose her over me.” She said faking tears that melted Lanre. He couldn’t help but hug her.
” I’m sorry Sade. You’re not bad. I must confess that you are one of the most beautiful women I have met in my life. I was actually drawn to Adura not because of her physical appearance.
I love her spirit. I love her so much because we have a lot in common, in terms of purpose, vision, spirituality and many more. I’m not interested in a woman’s beauty because I believe beauty can fade.
But, with the way your sister has broken my heart, I don’t think I will ever forgive her and myself. I don’t know where I missed it.
I don’t know what I did to deserve this. I don’t know what I didn’t do well.” Lanre said, trying to act strong but those tears won’t let him be. Those tears broke the barriers, gushing out like a tap of water.
“Brother Lanre, are you crying? Please don’t cry. I love you and I hate seeing you in this condition. Please, stay strong. Move on in life. The Lord will strengthen you, bro. Just be strong.” Sade said persuasively. Lanre was encouraged. He managed to utter a thank you to Sade.
Sade smelt victory. Her own body was dancing to the music of victory, well in her mind!
” Sade, thanks for all you’ve done. Good bye.”Lanre announced.
Sade felt that was the appropriate time to shoot her shot.
” What if I marry this handsome dude? What if I taste his pink lips some day? What if he wraps me in his warm arms someday?” she thought.
” Oh, sorry Brother Lanre. I still have something to say.” She said. Lanre wasn’t comfortable.
What else did she want to say?
Sade didn’t wait for his response before she poured out her heart to Lanre
“Brother Lanre, I have been desiring to confess my love to you. I love you. I don’t mind becoming your girlfriend. I promise not to break your tender heart like my sister. I promise to stand by you, cook meals that will cause your stomach to enter into the heavenly realms, singing hallelujah.
I promise to satisfy you with se.x. I know my sister won’t allow you to touch her but she can stoop so stupid to give it out to another lover. I promise to take you to cloud nine….” She expressed herself dramatically, but got no response from Lanre.
“Brother Lanre, you aren’t saying anything? Have I offended you?” She asked.
Lanre couldn’t say anything.
His phone rang! Lo, it was Adura.
Sade felt the spirit of envy sweeping her. She could call Lanre but couldn’t ask of Sade her sister.
Lanre was confused. Bitter and joyful that her call came in.
” Lanre, my sister knows how to cook lies. I am not a lady full of lies. Believe all I have told you and that’s why I showed you an evidence.” Sade said while Lanre walked away.
This left Sade dejected.
We shall see!
To be continued.
