RESOBLADE IN THE BIBLE
CHAPTER SIX
I was seating In front of my room one evening when she called me to come to her place. I told her I was tired and would love to rest a little. She then insisted on coming to my place. I accepted and directed her. Few minutes later she was already there. I went down stairs and to take her when I met her arguing with a bike man on the transport. I hurriedly shot her up and paid the driver. I had felt so embarrassed and ashamed of her.
She apologized and lied about not doing it again. I said lied because I knew women of her caliber just don’t change. We were together till 9:30. I had actually noticed that she had been acting uptight. She checked her phone each time it bip. It was almost as if she was waiting for someone’s Call. She was looking lost and at the same time afraid. I didn’t quite understand why someone like her will be scared of me now. She had literally known me from some time and I was sure she knew what I do. I just ignored the feelings though my instincts wanted to act upon it and observe her well.
“ Are you sure you’re okay.?
“You’re not comfortable being here?
“ Nahhhh!! I am great. In fact I feel amazing.” She lied because I could see from her face that she wasn’t .
Immediately a call came in she rushed and picked it up and went out to answer. I heard her saying something like house number, street but I wasn’t quite sure what she was talking about.
She told me that she needed to leave that her cousin was coming to pick her up. I said ok while waiting for her cousin let’s get down to business but she refused, saying that her cousin was down the road to pick her up. I wanted to escort her but she still denied it.
She left thirty minutes ago, my phone rang and it was scar. He informed me that someone had rat us out and the police was on the way to our apartment. Immediately I rushed out of the parlor and went into the room to grab my pistol. I also picked some of my important stuff made it out through the back door leaving the front door open.
I was putting on a hoodie so as to cover my face to avoid neighbors stopping me for any discussion because they were fun of that. When I finally made it out of the house and the area, I had issues taking bike. Each bike I stopped had a passenger. Even the taxis too were all occupied.
The police Siren was sounding Now really close. I decided I was going to Start trekking. Just then the Siren sounded even more closer and then stop. Which indicated that they were in my house already. I increased my past and started running because the moment they knew I was missing they will come after me. While I was running a man came and parked his bike by the road side to ease himself and that’s when I saw the opportunity to rush grab the bike and run. As a harden Criminal, I had learned driving anything. And so Biking wasn’t really a problem for me.
When he heard the engine, he screamed and chased after me but to no avail. His screams got the attention if the police who was now moving up to my direction and pulled up where he was standing. While I was driving I could see him making gestures and pointing at me. Few seconds later, it all became a Chase race. They speed up and was almost reaching me, but I wasn’t going to let them. No matter what they said I couldn’t stop. One of them had gotten tired of talking and took out his gun and started shooting at me. I increased the speed of my bike. As I made my way through the shooting, the gun shoots increased. I came to Bending side of the road and since I was in the wrong side, a truck hit my bike and threw me deep into the bushes. I fell and hit my Head on a stone. After that I only found myself in the hospital in a certain orphanage. But the irony about life was I had no idea who I was.
