Immediately I was about to explain to my dad, his phone rang and he answered the call “Hello Austin how far na, hope all is well?” “See bro, no time for explanation. This is an emergency, your brother God’s time just had an ãccident and he’s badly wounded your attention is needed right now.” “Ok, ok I’ll be there shortly” my dad replied in astonishment and aborted the call.” “Jesus Christ, pls honey go and dress up let’s go. This is a Matter of life and death.” he said to mum.
He turned towards me while adjusting his trousers “And as for you Jennifer, your own is going to be next time because as you can see, something important just came up and we’d be returning probably tomorrow because it’s already late.” Mother hurriedly dressed up, came out, and went with my father around 5:30pm. I was alone with my younger brother. As I went to check on him, I found him sleeping.
So I went to my room as well then when I checked my phone, a message popped up. I verified, and it was my pastor who had asked me to come to his house. I told him it was too late and that I couldn’t. After a while his daughter unity called.” “Jennifer how is your health.” “I’m fine now at least it’s far better than yesterday” I replied. “Okay, I’m watching a very interesting movie, are you free to join me, or are you preoccupied with something else?” “ummm not really, what about your dad is he around?” “He left I think about 5mins ago, and why do you ask, is anything the problem?”
“No not at all. Although my parents have already departed, I am currently with my brother, who is asleep, because of you I’ll be coming. I have nothing else I’m doing. But I don’t have T- fare.” “Okay when you come I’ll pay for your transport.” “Okay I’m coming.” she ended the call after I responded. I went inside to take a bath, then dressed up and departed. I took a taxi there, and she paid.
Meanwhile she had paused the movie earlier. When I asked her the title of the movie she told me it was “Money heist”. She was in the third episode of season 1, so she said she’d resume it from the beginning because of me, so we both began with the first episode of season 1. We watched the movie till 8pm with her laptop and she told me she’s already feeling sleepy. So I left there and headed to the sitting room. I overheard pastor discussing with his wife, I just ignored and went straight to sleep with unity. After sleeping for hours, I overheard someone hitting my laps diligently.
“Jesus!” I shouted.
My lips were simply covered with the person’s hands, therefore I was unable to photograph his face. He suddenly carried me on his shoulder like someone carrying a load from the market I struggled to ward him off but couldn’t so I bit his palms. When he released hold , I ran towards unity and yelled in alarm. Unity, who was sleeping beside me, awoke immediately and inquired as to what was going on. “What’s going on Jennifer it’s almost 12am!”
When the person suddenly realized that I’ve raised an alarm, he suddenly ran towards the sitting room. Unity was unable to spot him when she woke up. “Unity, where is your dad? are you sure he’s asleep” I questioned her. “What happened to dad? he’s sleeping of course.” “Can we go and check please?” “Jennifer this one you are acting strange hope everything is fine because you’ve never behaved this way since I’ve known you.” “Jennifer is there something you are not telling me!!!” “What is it? how can you just wake up by this time of the day and tell me you want to see my dad?”
