PASSIONATE DESTINY
EPOSIDE 7
WRITTEN BY RUKEVWE MERRY

Perry went after Jason to talk, but his dad pulled him back. Perry kept asking to speak with Jason, who was surprised to learn that Perry’s mom is also his mom.

Perry said, “Jason, let me explain. She’s not really my mom; she’s been with us for a long time, like a nanny. That’s why I call her ‘mom’.

“She practically raised us when our real mom passed away. She’s really kind, I promise,” Perry pleaded. But Jason got really angry hearing Perry say she is really kind. “How can you call this woman who left a newborn baby behind a good person?” Jason yelled. “I’m leaving.” Then he got into the car with his dad, and they drove away, leaving Perry feeling sad.

Elizabeth tried to chase after them, but she tripped and fell to the ground, crying. Perry rushed to her side, wiping away her tears and helping her up. She gently guided her mother back inside, comforting her and telling her not to cry.

Perry reassured her, saying, “Mom, don’t cry today. This is a day of happiness because you’ve finally seen the two people you’ve been searching for all these years.” Perry’s siblings and father also surrounded Elizabeth, offering their support and comfort.

Perry tried to call Jason for two days, but Jason didn’t answer. Jason got upset because she called his mom a good woman, even though she abandoned him just barely few hours when he was born.

She decides to go to the city to meet him and talk things over, but Thomas won’t let her into his house or see his son. Thomas tells her that they don’t want anything to do with her or anything connected to Elizabeth.

Perry left Jason’s house without seeing him and tried calling him for about a week, but he didn’t answer her calls. Frustrated, Perry sent him a message saying that if he doesn’t come to her house before 10:00 am today, she will ter.mi.nate the pregnancy.

Seeing the message, Jason hurried out of the room. His father asked him where he is going, he said he wants to see Perry, but his dad told him not to meet her. Jason softened his voice and explained that Perry threatened to end the pregnancy(ter.mi.na.te )if he didn’t see her before 10:00 am.

Thomas asked Jason if she is pregnant, and Jason confirmed it, saying she is pregnant with his child. He couldn’t abandon his child like his mom did to him; otherwise, he’d be no different from her. Thomas urged him to hurry and make sure nothing happened to his grandchild. Jason drove out of the house quickly and arrived at Perry’s house in no time.

Jason entered Perry’s house and asked her, “Why do you want to end our baby’s life?” Perry responded, “I wanted to talk to you about that. It seems like you care more about the baby than me.” Jason explained, “I care about both of you, but I’m really upset with your mom or our mom.”

Perry interrupted him and said, “I asked you to come here so I can tell you the truth. Your mom was tricked by a man who promised her a better life abroad, which is why she left you behind.”

Unknown to her, it was all a scheme to use her to smuggle ill.eg.al dru.gs out of the country. Unfortunately, your mom was caught and detained for 10 years before she was finally proven innocent.

She searched for your father and you for months but couldn’t find you guys. She even tried to commit suicide, but my mom stopped her. We didn’t know her at all, but my mom took her in and promised to help her find you and your dad. Unfortunately, we lost my mom to sickness. We were very young then, and your mom took care of us and made sure we didn’t miss our late mom.

Every day, she cried and prayed for you and your dad to be safe. She regretted everything she did. I’m sure her time in jail made her a better person. Please, Jason, forgive her for the sake of our unborn child.

“Well said,” Jason replied, “but how do you expect me to forgive her? She deserves everything that happens to her. I don’t feel sorry for her.”

Perry asked him to stop and told him that their destiny wasn’t just to fall in love, but also to reunite him with his mom.

Jason still insisted he wouldn’t forgive her. Perry then told him that if he didn’t forgive his mom, he promised he would ever see her or their child again. Jason asked her to stop emotionally blackmailing him.

Perry asked Jason to leave her house and never come back, but Jason refused to leave. He eventually agreed to forgive his mom, but he told Perry not to harm their baby. Perry hugged and kissed him in response.

Jason went home and tried to explain everything to his dad. At first, his dad was stubborn, but eventually, his heart softened. Perry, Thomas, and Jason returned to visit Perry’s home. Elizabeth begged her son and husband for forgiveness for her mistakes. Thomas embraced her and carried her up, while Jason hugged his mom and asked if he could rest his head on her laps. Elizabeth agreed with a smile on her face.

Thomas thanked Perry’s father for taking care of his wife all these years, and Perry’s father returned the thanks, saying she also took care of his three kids.

Thomas then asked if he could take his wife back to their house,Perry’s dad replied with a smile, saying yes.

After a few months, Perry and Jason got married. They would often playfully argue over who would get to sleep on Elizabeth’s lap, but in the end, Thomas always ended up resting there.

A few months later, Junior Jason was born, making Elizabeth a proud grandmother. Reflecting on her past actions, Elizabeth regretted her decisions and began to teach young girls to stay in their homes and not chase after wealthy men, as not everything that shines is gold.

Using her own life as an example, she emphasized the importance of making positive choices. While her family forgave her and she was able to move forward, she acknowledged that not everyone is fortunate enough to receive forgiveness or leave prison. She encouraged young people to follow the right path so their families could be proud of them rather than ashamed.

Elizabeth stressed the importance of not getting carried away with the allure of going abroad. She advised young girls to thoroughly research and plan before leaving their homes without informing anyone. Many young girls face dangerous situations, including trafficking, exploitation, and even death, when they venture out unprepared. Elizabeth emphasized that life abroad isn’t always as glamorous as it may seem, and it’s crucial to prioritize safety and caution above all else.
