EPISODE 12

After a few minutes of stunned silence, Kate’s eyes rolled back, and she fainted.
George rushed to her side, panic-stricken. “Kate! No, please don’t leave me again!”
He quickly summoned the doctor, who rushed in to attend to Kate.
As the doctor examined Kate, Jenson’s curiosity got the better of him.
“Daddy, who is that lady?” Jenson asked, his eyes wide with wonder.
George lifted Jenson into his arms, his voice trembling.
“That’s your mom, son. I never wanted you to see her like this.”
Jenson’s face lit up with excitement.
“Mommy!” Jenson exclaimed.
Meanwhile, the doctor finished his examination and beckoned George outside.
“Let’s talk,” the doctor said.
George handed Jenson to Ava. “Watch him for a minute.”
Ava carried Jenson and discreetly eavesdropped on George and the doctor.
“Sir, I’m afraid Kate has suffered significant cognitive impairment due to the traumatic brain injury,” the doctor explained.
“The accident caused severe cerebral edema, leading to temporary memory loss and possibly permanent retrograde amnesia.”(What this means in layman’s language…
“Kate’s accident caused severe brain swelling, leading to temporary memory loss and possible permanent memory loss of past events, altering her life forever,.”)
George’s face fell.
“What about her physical condition?” George asked.
“The prolonged coma has resulted in severe muscle atrophy and contractures,” the doctor replied.(What this means in layman’s language
“Kate’s prolonged coma led to severe muscle wasting and stiff joints.)
“Physical therapy will be essential to regain mobility, but it’s uncertain if she’ll ever fully recover.”
George’s eyes welled up.
“Any advice?” George asked.
“Don’t force her to remember,” the doctor cautioned.
“Allow her brain to heal naturally. Forcing memories could lead to psychological trauma or even permanent brain damage.”
George nodded, determination etched on his face.
“I’ll do whatever it takes to help her recover.”
The doctor nodded sympathetically.
“We’ll work together to ensure Kate receives the best care possible.”
“Thank you, doctor,” George said, seeing the doctor out.
Ava returned to the room, her eyes and fingers moving swiftly as she dialed a number.
“I’ve found my trump card,” she whispered.
“Arrange four trusted hooligans for me,” Ava instructed over the phone. “I’m on my way.”
Turning to Jenson, Ava asked, “Why don’t we get you ice cream?”
Jenson nodded eagerly.
As they left the gate, George returned, asking, “Where are you guys going?”
Jenson replied, “Dad, my aunt is getting me ice cream. I’m happy Mom is awake!”
George bent to touch Jenson’s cheek. “Wait for me; I’ll get you ice cream myself after picking up Grandma from the hospital.”
But Ava insisted, “Don’t worry, we won’t be long.”
George nodded, trusting Ava.
Unbeknownst to George, Ava took Jenson to a hidden location, slapped him, and signaled her henchmen to tie him up. Jenson’s cries fell on deaf ears.
Meanwhile,George and Granny arrived home, concerned about Kate’s condition.
George filled Granny in on the doctor’s update. “The doctor said Kate’s recovery will take time.”
Granny nodded understandingly. “Let’s check on her.”
In Kate’s room, George and Granny found her still asleep.
George called the doctor to report Kate’s is still sleeping since.
The doctor reassured him, “Don’t worry, George. She’ll wake up soon.”
George ended the call and decided to check on Jenson.
He knocked on Jenson’s door. “Jenson! Are you in there?”
No response.
George’s concern grew.
He headed to Ava’s room, knocking again. “Ava! Jenson!”
Silence.
George’s anxiety spiked,
He returned back to his room.
Just as George was about to touch the phone, Ava returned.
“Why did you guys stay out so late?” George asked.
Before Ava could reply, Kate opened her eyes again.
George rushed to Kate’s side, but Ava quickly beat him to it.
“Kate, are you fine? Are you okay? My sister, I’ve missed you so much!” Ava exclaimed.
Kate replied, holding her head, “I’m fine… Where am I, Ava? Who is that man standing here?”
Ava lied, “That’s my fiancรฉ. You were in an accident. I brought you to my fiancรฉ’s house.”
George’s anger boiled over.
Ava gently patted Kate to sleep.
George dragged Ava out of the room.
“What did you mean by what you told Kate?” George demanded.
“I mean every single word of it.”Ava sneered.
“Do you think I would want to be with a che@p girl like you?”
George’s said.
“I overheard what the doctor told you. If you don’t want Kate de@d, you have no choice but to be with me. If not, I will force her to remember, and you know what that means.”
George’s fury erupted. “And what gave you the mind that I will keep you in my house, allowing you to force her to remember?”
Ava revealed her trump card: “Because you have no choice. Jenson is with me. If my henchmen don’t hear from me every 30 minutes, your son will… disappear.”
George grabbed Ava’s throat. “Where is my son?”
Ava’s laughter sent chills down George’s spine.
George frantically searched downstairs.
Next:
Ava followed George, laughing. “He isn’t here.”
Granny descended from her room, concerned. “Why are you shouting, George?”
Ava revealed her sinister truth. “Jenson is missing. I kidn*pped him.”
Granny’s eyes widened in horror. “You ev!l woman! How dare you!”
Granny raised her hand to strike Ava, but Ava pushed her to the ground.
George rushed to Granny’s side, helping her up.
Granny scolded, “George, I told you not to trust this ev!l woman.”
George apologized, “I’m sorry, Granny. I thought she had changed.”
Granny’s wise words soothed George’s worries: “A snake’s venom doesn’t change, no matter how colorful its skin.”
George turned to Ava, fury burning. “How dare you push my grandma? I’ll ki!! you, bitch!”
Ava taunted, using her body to intimidate George. “Touch me, and you’ll never seรฉ your son again.”
George demanded, “What do you want?”
Ava’s demands were shocking. “Marry me, throw your granny out. If you do, I won’t tell Kate anything and I will keep her in this house.”
George refused, outraged. “You’re cr*zy! How dare you think I’d marry a disgusting bitch like you?”
Ava revealed the disturbing video of Jenson tied up.
George’s anger exploded. “Let my son go!”
Ava sneered, “The ball is in your court.”
Granny intervened, guiding George to the corner.
“George, please, we’ll buy time and trace her to find Jenson,” Granny said.
Granny’s parable resonated: “When a river encounters a rock, it flows around. We’ll outsmart Ava.”
George steeled himself.
Granny continued, “A single stick may break, but a bundle of sticks is unbreakable. We’ll stand together.”
Granny’s final words echoed: “The darkest night precedes dawn. We’ll overcome this darkness.”
George insisted, “I won’t kick you out, Granny.”
Granny reassured, “Don’t worry, George. We have many properties. I can stay elsewhere.”
Granny’s wisdom comforted George: “When life gives you thorns, make a rose garden. We’ll turn Ava’s evil into our strength.”
George nodded, determination burning.
