My wife my Nemesis episode 11

MY WIFE, MY NEMESIS
CHAPTER 11

I woke up around 9am the following morning, feeling very refreshed and relaxed. Memories of the previous night flooded my brain and I chuckled dryly. She must have understood that I was not the kind of person she could mess with. I was certain she’d definitely be feeling sorry for daring to even think and try to boss me around in my own home, just because she’d some cheap, dirty tricks, up her sleeves.

“I’m not someone you can get cheeky with, and go scot-free.” I said amusingly to myself and smirked.

I stretched my limbs before getting up from the bed. I entered the bathroom and took a good bath. I enjoyed how the warm water ran down from my head to toes and set every part settable in my body. I was just in a good mood for no reason. I guessed that was the cool feeling of winning. If someone was counting our scores, I was certain, I’d be declared the winner after what I put her through the night before.

I got out of the bathroom, whistling excitedly, got dressed up and then went downstairs, to the living room. I was certain I’d meet her on the cold floor where I’d abandoned her after dealing with her severely. I didn’t even remove the gag from her mouth. I wanted to meet her there that morning and take pictures of her, while she looked helpless and used. I wanted to see whether that annoying sweet smile she always had on whenever she was dealing with me, would still be there or not. I knew it’d have run off after what she went through. I smirked.

“Hey, hubby! You look extremely handsome this morning.” Good morning. I know you’d a wonderful night.” Blessing pointed out and hailed me with the sweetest, calmest voice ever.

The voice compelled my legs to stop walking and my mouth was agape. I had just walked into the living room and instead of meeting my wife’s helpless, pitiful used body on the cold floor, I met a rather ravishing Blessing, standing elegantly in the front of the television, with the remote in her hand, and that annoying sweet smile on her face.

She was putting on an expensive looking, straight red gown which accentuated her curves perfectly. Her lips were painted correctly with red lipstick. Her whole face was caked prettily with make up. The Blessing I knew had never put on such heavy make-up. Her legs were adorned with black shiny high-heeled shoes. The black curly wig she had on her head made her look bolder. She looked fiercely beautiful.

“Your jaw is touching the ground, hubby. Close that mouth.” I realized my mouth was widely opened only when I heard her said that. I closed my mouth embarrassingly and looked on in astonishment. I was utterly surprised. I wondered if I had just gotten too high the previous night and dreamt the whole thing. I shook my head disapprovingly.

My eyes quickly scanned through the room and I found the duct tape which I’d gagged her mouth with, lying on the floor. That confirmed I didn’t dream it. It really happened.

“What’s happening? Are you not going to say anything? Well, you should go to the dinning hall and eat. I prepared your favorite. Seafood jollof rice. Oh, I think I should even call it seafood jollof coconut rice. I added coconut milk to it. I went all out to pamper your stomach this morning. You will enjoy the meal.” She announced sweetly to me. I was dumbfounded. There was no way she would cook for me after what happened the previous night. My brain quickly told me she’d have added po.i.s.on to it.

“Food? You cooked for me?” I asked her to confirm and she nodded affirmatively. She dropped the remote in her hand and led me to the dinning hall.

I couldn’t stop myself from following her as her attractive backside was so commanding. We got to the dinning table and she opened up the dishing plate. The aroma nearly made me lower my guard and sit down to start eating but fortunately for me, I didn’t. My guts told me she’d po.i.s.oned the meal. The Blessing I knew would never cook for me with a free mind after what I did to her. I comported myself.

“I can’t eat anything right now. I’m late for work. I need to go.” I nearly stuttered. I was nervous. Her calmness and indifference was creeping me out. She graced my view with her infamous sweet smile again.

“Well, I guessed as much. Don’t worry, your thoughtful wife has packed two food flasks for you, both filled up to the brims with the delicious rice and turkey. I’ve dropped them in your car.” She informed me gently.

I shivered inwardly. It was as if she was announcing that she’d just dropped a ticking bomb in my car. I gritted anxiously, as not knowing what she was up to, was eating me up. I wondered what her plans were, apprehensively.

“You put what in my car?” I inquired again.

“Your food. If you’re ready, let’s go.” She informed me, the sweet smile still plastered on her face, as if it could never fall off.

“Let’s go? As in the two of us? Go to where?” I asked. My voice came out lowly than I’d wanted. I wondered if she was perhaps informing me to let us go and die together. I knew that cr.a.z.y woman was capable of that.

“I just want you to drop me at our junction. I have a place to go to, that’s why I want to follow you.” She replied me simply. I could see she was ready to k.i.ll us. Her calmness told me so. I shook my head.

“No, I’m actually not going anywhere today. You can tell my driver to drive you to wherever you are going to, alone.” The announcement rolled out of my tongue immediately my brain processed her information.

“You are not going to work anymore? You just said you’re late for work now? And you’re even dressed up already? What changed your movement?” She asked, bemusedly.

“Erm… I just don’t feel like going to work anymore. You should go to where you are going.” I informed her flatly. She didn’t even argue with me, she just nodded, carried her black fancy handbag from the couch in the living room and started walking towards the door. She opened the door but instead of leaving, she stopped and looked back at me.

“Rest well, hubby!” She said to me excitedly and then walked out through the door.

My befuddled mind told me she just told me to rest in peace. I was agitated. I started pacing up and down in the dinning hall. I wondered if she’d decided to blow up my mansion with me in it. I was restless. I decided to go out of the house without taking my car, after she left the compound. I’d rather order uber than get burnt alive inside my car or my house.
