To my surprise we drove all along to Ring road and he stopped at a big building, he asked me to guess what they may be selling in that building and I could only guess that clothes, he smiled and said it is close but not it, we entered the building and yes you can say they really invested in this fashion house, I admired all the sewing machines, mannequins, the clothes accessories and materials in the building, It is in fact a fashion house for celebrities, I then told him I am not a celebrity yet so why is he bringing me to the fashion house for styling, he then replied “Bukunmi, I hope you like everything in this building?” “Johnson, I did not like here I love it, the person that owns here have a good investment” I told him, he then look into my eyes and said “This fashion house is yours, I promise to surprise you if you make me happy by your performance at your training , you made me more proud, your creativity is everywhere, celebrities want to recreate it and I would like you to be handling their styling so I pull this investment down for you”
I don’t know what to do whether to scream, pass out or cry, A almost 20 year old CEO? is this how God works? Am I dreaming ? I screamed Jesus!!!! at the wealth.. It is just too big , this building for me alone? I jumped at him and just started crying, he then wiped my tears and told me to explore my company, I don’t even know how to thank him, before I turned back, I saw him kneeling with a bouquet and paper on it which have an piece of paper with an in print boldly written “I want you to marry me” I want to pass out, Johnson is doing too much today, I don’t know how it is happening, I don’t even know how to respond with either yes or a no, I felt dizzy and I just fell, Johnson rushed to me and started blowing breeze to me, I gained consciousness and just told us to go home, we got home, he carried me from the car to the living room, I Yizef Stories apologized for my reaction and he said he understand “It is fine if you don’t want the ring yet, I will wait, I will be patient, I think I am being too forward” then I said “Johnson, that is not what happened, I was just surprised from too much what I just saw, I have never been this loved all my life, Before I met you my life was sorrowful, I had lived a life where no one loves me, Johnson I will marry you”
He looked at me, he smiled and he gave me kisses,
I am now very comfortable with his kisses and with him too, he then said “babe, I will never rush things with you, I know how young you are and I will wait for you to grow to any age you want before s*x or marriage, I don’t want to marry teenager” I laughed hard and found an offens3 in him calling me a teenager, “But you have been kissing the teenager for a while now and have asked the teenager to marry you” I said with me rolling my eyes at him, He laughed and said “good women are not easy to come by, when I saw a good one I need to act sharply and make you mine, I could only laugh and he looked into my eyes again and said “I love you” I told him I love him too and then we went to our different rooms after watching movies together.
I launched my fashion house, employed stylists and workers,and hire a good management to help me run my business online, after 3 months, big deals have started coming, people are interested in my work and most people are surprised on how a young girl like me can control this so much project.
Celebrities gives me their clothes to style and I am becoming well known.
Johnson came home in one evening with a stranger, he introduced him to me that he will be my lesson teacher as he want me to go back to school, he also obtained jamb form and Waec form along, I welcome my teacher, we scheduled plans for my lesson and as dedicated I was to my business, I gave it too to my lesson, Exam came, I passed all with distinction again.
I came home with my Jamb result, Johnson was at home making dinner for Jessica and I, I showed him the result, he carried me and turned me around and then kiss me, he was impressed with how I had perform and told me He won’t send me to a Federal University, He told me to apply for Leadcity University post utme form, I did and after few months, I gained admission into one of the best private university in Ibadan.
Johnson is a blessing to me. Well on my 20th birthday, he also did so much for me and I am happy to love him, and he loves me too, he respect my body, even though I am yet to recover from my trauma, he had been patient about s*xual activities with me, he told me he will wait till I am ready.
One Sunday evening we were talking and he asked me “Babe, when did you feel it is right for us to get married officially”
“Anytime you are ready babe, I am not younger and it is fine now” I replied, he then gave me a shocker “Then take me to your home to pay your bride price” my face gave a scornful looks, why will he want to visit my parents. I have thrown away the fact that I have a mother already why is he bringing it up. He noticed my mood and said
“Bukunmi, I understood your pains, I know what you had gone through but I want you to learn forgiveness, remember that after all the good things happening to you now is not by your power or might, the day I met you, I don’t know why I had come to that store that day and me meeting you is a blessing, God has predestined everything happening to mankind”
All of these Johnson said were just sitting well with me then I asked him with tears that “what if I didn’t run away from home that day? what if you did not help me that day, what if I had gone on the street and I am dead by now, Forgiving my mother is hard, no one is going to question me If You marry me without bride price, I don’t have a family”
“Well I am an Igbo man and bride price is compulsory to my tradition, I can’t assume we are married, I will have to pay your bride price” he said, I stood up, started crying, asking God why my father have to die, this is the best time for him to enjoy”daddy I now have money to take care of you in your illness but you are no more” I went on my knees and cry Johnson came to me wipe my tears, hugged me and told me that it is well with me . After much persuasion, I agreed taking him to my village to pay my bride price but I had promised that after my bride price , that will be the last thing that will bring my mother and I together.
