EPISODE 5
So we also retired for the night after a long day of working as ghosts on campus 😂

We were reminiscing about the activities of the day. When two students entered the compound.
They had come to visit their girlfriends who were co-tenants with us. They were sitted outside and so we had to eavesdrop on their conversation because it sure was about us.
These guys are good guys,why were they killed in cold blood? Did you say killed? One of them opined! These guys were brutally burnt to ashes. What a wicked world! And the killers are working scot free.
Jeff and I got to latter know that the landlord had earlier collected rent from some students and was yet to give them a room. Our packing out was a breathe of fresh air to him as he quickly called them and gave the room to them.
They had packed in that evening without knowing what awaited them. The killers also didn’t know that the house had new tenants and that their perceived targets had moved out.
It was heartrending to know that others took our place in death where we would have been the victims.
The heart of man is desperately wicked. Just because I had helped Jeff by the Grace of God to get his life back on track was the reason for the planned attack on our lives which others became the victims bothered me alot.
I got to know one of the boys was an only child and the other was working his socks off to see himself through school.
There lives just ended because of some heartless unscrupulous elements who were bent on destroying lives and destinies they had no hand in bringing into the world.
Jeff was their cash cow, hence their anger. Jeff was completely broken and sobbed all night.
So many stories were flying around on news media and social handles. None had an iota of truth. They were all trying to out sell themselves by others misfortune.
Our journalism in this part of the world is pathetic and lethargic all put together.
But I made a strong resolve that the culprits must not go free! They will face the law and the world will know the truth.
My challenge was how to convince Jeff about the plan I had in mind.
He reluctantly agreed but we had a lot to do so as to stay out of trouble while executing our mission.
We disguised ourselves and went our separate ways to find the abode of the killers. It took us all day but we achieved it by the end of the day.
So we rested for the day and plan for the next day which was to appear in white apparels to them at different times when they were not together so as to force them to confess to their crimes!
Up we went the next day…..
