Simi stared at him in astonishment.
“Kilode? (What is it?) why are you being rude? You bumped into me Mr man and you are supposed to apologize to me” Simi said angrily
“Just shut up! Don’t you have eyes? And you are a doctor…. Yet you have blocked ears” He said more rudely this time.
“You’ve got some nerve… I have a lot of better things to do with my time… Excuse me!” Simi said as she tried walking away but he pulled her back.
“You are nothing but a worthless slut! Just thank your stars that you didn’t stain me with your filthy body… Bitch!” He yelled as he walked away.
Simi snorted in surprise.
“Unbelievable! Some people are just so ridiculous….” She said to herself as she walked away too.

“Thank you so much doctor! I don’t even know how to repay you for all your kindness… I mean you came as soon as we called you” The elderly wealthy looking man said.
Simi smiled excitedly.
“It’s nothing Sir! Am just doing my job” She said
“You are so kindhearted! You took very good care of my mom… She would have died of the heart attack if not for you…Oshee! (Thank you)” The lady with them said
“She will be conscious very soon… And you can talk to her” Simi said
“You know your kind of person will make a good wife for my son” The man said as Simi laughed.
“You are right dad” The girl said and Simi blushed.
“That reminds me… Where is your brother Adewale? He should be here by now” The man asked his daughter.
“He told me he’s already here in the hospital” The lady said
“What’s going on here? How is mom?” A voice said from behind.
“Oh Wale! You are here? Dad was just asking about you?” The lady said
Adewale scoffed and sighed very loudly.
“Yes Ade! I was worried that…” The man said
“Enough of that crap you are talking about… Worried my foot! Like you care about me…” Adewale said in a hoarse voice.
Simi became stunned at the manner with which he spoke.
He quickly turned around.
His eyes caught with Simi’s eyes.
They gasped…
“You?” They pointed at each other to the surprise of his dad and sister.
“Do you know each other?” His sister asked anxiously.
“Tiwa who the hell is this freaking lady?” Adewale asked his sister.
“Uhmm… She’s mommy’s nurse” Tiwa replied.
“What the… You let this arrogant lady be mom’s nurse” Adewale said rudely
“She’s not rude Adewale… I think you are the rude one here…” His dad said
“Mr Oladipo! I’ll appreciate it if you just stay out of matters that concerns me” Adewale said arrogantly to his father.
“Your manners please?” Simi said annoyed.
“Shut your trap you hoer!” He said as he stormed out of the ward.
Simi rolled her eyes in shock.
She couldn’t believe that his arrogance even makes him talk to his father like trash.
Tiwa only breathed heavily.
Seeing things alone made Simi understand that Adewale despises his father.
Mr Oladipo remained silent as he sat on the chair beside his wife’s bed.

Simi walked into the house tiredly.
She was super exhausted as she sat on the cushion.
Yemi was not yet home…
Probably she has a date with her fiance Dele.
She yawned hungrily as she dragged herself straight to the kitchen.
She opened the pots and find out they were empty.
Yemi always comes home first…
And whenever she comes home… Be sure to expect at least a plate of delicious jollof rice.
She brought out a can of fruit juice and a pack of crunchy cookies.
I quickly opened it and drank directly from the can.
I’ve been so busy at the hospital that I’ve forgotten to eat.
She was so exhausted that she slept on the couch.
THE NEXT MORNING
Her cell phone rang noisily….
And she opened her weak eyes.
it was already 8am.
Thank goodness! It was on a Sunday.
She picked it up without looking at the screen.
📱 Simi… where the hell are you? The wedding is about to start…. Mrs Folashade’s voice yelled from the phone speaker.
Simi quickly jumped up from the couch.
📱 Simi are you there? My wedding is about to start…. Toyosi said
OMG!
Simi gasped…
She was still sleeping….
She jumped into the bathroom screaming…
