Her Ghost Episode 8

HER GHOST 8

After that day, Jenny’s visit became more fierce and persistent. There was hardly a day she hardly came by. She came whenever she wanted. She was like the wind, for wherever I went, she was there already. Slowly, I was losing my mind. At night I would hear her ear piercing laugher.

Which was lively and possessed a little bit of mischief at the same time, just like the laughter of mischievous kids.
Noticing that things were getting out of hand, Joy advised me to go home to my parents, and I gladly took her advice.

The first and night home was peaceful. For a long time I haven’t experienced such amount of peace. Then the third night she came again.

“What really do you want from me? Can’t you see that I am losing my mind?”
I thundered on walking in and seeing her already in my room.

“Why I thought you love it? Don’t you love the sound of my laughter? I thought you always wanted people to laugh? That’s why I am here, so that you wouldn’t miss that laugher. You can’t run away from me Abby. I will always find you.”

She said with a sinister smile on her face.

“Why are you doing this to me? I haven’t wronged you in anyway. Please let me be!”

I broke down in tears.

“oh..you also cry? you really must be enjoying yourself then.”

She said sarcastically, and broke into a mirthful laugher that echoed in the whole room.

“I have done you no wrong stop tormenting my life!”

“Oh really, you have done me no wrong. And what if I said you have actually wronged me?”

“How? As far as I can remember I have done you no wrong for the few days I lived with you. How can you say that when I only met you few months ago?”

I said with a shaky voice.

“You are right. you don’t know me but I am sure you know Deborah Anderson.”
My eyes widened in shock.

Deborah Anderson!

How on earth can I forget?

To be continued.
