Heart Of Lies episode 7

HEART OF LIES
EPISODE 7

Gift cried uncontrollably in the room, her heart shattered into a million pieces. She had never felt such pain and confusion before.

As she lay on the bed, she wondered what would happen now. She truly loved both Jamie and Daniel, but she was confused about what to do.

“I love Jamie’s passion and romance,” she thought. “But I also love Daniel’s kindness and care .”

She cried till she slept off, exhausted from the emotional turmoil.

Later on, Daniel came into the room and met her sleeping. He stared at her, wondering what had happened to him.

“I used to love her before I met Rachel,” he thought. “But now, I don’t know what I feel.”

He sighed sadly and climbed onto the bed, closing his eyes and wondering what would happen now that Gift had found out his secret.

As he slept, he knew that his life was about to change forever.

The next morning, Gift woke up first, feeling groggy and disoriented. She looked at Daniel sleeping beside her and felt a mix of emotions.

She got out of bed and went to the bathroom to freshen up, trying to clear her head.

As she looked in the mirror, she asked herself, “What am I going to do now?”,

She turned and left the bathroom,

Gift came out of the bathroom, expecting to see Daniel still asleep. But to her surprise, he was already awake, sitting up in bed and staring at her.

“Good morning,” she said quickly, trying to avoid eye contact.

“Good morning,” Daniel replied, his voice low and husky.

Gift hurriedly walked out of the room, not wanting to have any conversation with him. She could feel his eyes on her as she left.

Daniel sighed and rubbed his temples. He knew Gift was avoiding him, and he couldn’t blame her. He had hurt her deeply.

He got out of bed and went to take his bath, trying to clear his head. As he dressed up and went out of the room, he knew he had to face the consequences of his actions.

He got to the dining room and saw his breakfast already served. He looked around for Gift, but she was nowhere to be found. He knew she was avoiding him.

He sat down and ate his food in silence, feeling a mix of emotions. He was sorry for hurting Gift, but he couldn’t deny his feelings for Rachel.

After eating, he cleared the dishes and picked up his bag. He was about to leave for work when he saw a note on the table.

“I need space,” the note read.

Daniel sighed and left the house, feeling a sense of unease.

Daniel sat at his desk, staring blankly at his computer screen. He couldn’t concentrate on work, his mind was preoccupied with thoughts of Gift and Rachel.

He picked up his phone and called Rachel, hoping to soothe his mind.

“Hey, I needed to hear your voice,” Daniel said, sighing.

“Hey, what’s wrong?” Rachel asked, concern etched in her voice.

“I just can’t concentrate on work,” Daniel replied. “I keep thinking about Gift and us.”

Rachel’s voice softened. “I’m here for you, Daniel. Do you want to come over tonight?”

Daniel hesitated. “I can’t tonight, I have a lot of work to complete. But I promise to come tomorrow.”

Rachel pouted playfully. “Okay, fine. But tomorrow, I’m not taking no for an answer.”

Daniel chuckled. “I wouldn’t dream of it.”

They chatted for a while longer before Daniel ended the call, sighing loudly. He wanted to close early and talk to Gift, explain things to her about Rachel.

Meanwhile, back at home, Gift was confused about what to do. Should she tell Daniel the truth about Jamie? But she brushed off the thought, not ready to confront that reality yet.

She dialed Jamie’s number, needing someone to talk to.

“Hey, what’s up?” Jamie asked, picking up on the first ring.

“Hey, I need to talk to you,” Gift said, her voice trembling.

Jamie sensed something was wrong. “I’m coming over right away,” she said, hanging up the call.

Gift sat down on the couch, waiting for Jamie to arrive. She knew she needed to talk to someone,

Jamie arrived, looking stunning in her short gown. She saw Gift lying down on the couch and rushed to her side.

“Hey, beautiful,” Jamie said, holding Gift and pecking her cheeks. “What’s wrong?”

Gift sighed, feeling a mix of emotions. “It’s Daniel,” she said. “He’s been cheating on me with some woman named Rachel.”

Jamie rolled her eyes. “Why are you bothered about that?” she asked. “You know I’m always here for you, no matter what.”

Gift looked up at Jamie, feeling a sense of comfort. “I don’t know,” she said. “I just feel so hurt and betrayed.”

Jamie held her close. “You deserve so much better than him,” she said. “You deserve someone who loves and appreciates you for who you are.”

Gift felt a lump in her throat as Jamie kissed her softly. She knew she had feelings for Jamie, but she wasn’t sure if she was ready to act on them, it could spoil her reputation.

“Thank you, Jamie,” Gift said, feeling a sense of gratitude. “Just being with you makes me feel better.”

Jamie smiled. “That’s what friends are for,” she said. “But I have to say, I’m more than just a friend to you, aren’t I?”

Gift’s heart skipped a beat as she looked into Jamie’s eyes. She knew that Jamie was right

Gift looked into Jamie’s eyes, feeling a sense of vulnerability. Jamie held her cheeks and kissed her softly, sending shivers down Gift’s spine.

Just as they were lost in the moment, they heard the sound of the door opening. Gift’s heart skipped a beat as she saw Daniel standing in the doorway, a look of shock and confusion on his face.
