His sister tapped him gently on his cheek to know what happened to him. Then the words of the baba that says nothing would happen if at all he should be hug calmed his tension down as he stares at her.

“Then why did you act scary when you saw me. Are you alright, othanel?

“about 10 minutes ago” She wanted to go closer to him but he moved back to stop her. “Why are you avoiding me? Did I do anything wrong?
He didn’t answer her and then quickly off his cloth in other to burn it. He watches his sister as she watches him from behind.
“What is the goodnews about?” He asked without looking back.
“And what is that thing you remove from your pocket?
“Answer my question first and don’t reply me with questions!” His voice sounds Authoritatively annoyed.
“Fine! But you shouldn’t raise your voice at me.” She rolls her eyes and then lean on the wall. “Someone has settled mother’s bill.
He turns to her immediately surprisingly and ask again to affirm he hears her. “Someone have what?

He grabbed her shoulder in disbelief and with excitement from within he ask who it was.
“I think the man works there. Infact he works there because he was putting on blue apron when he came to us.
“Explain in details to me. How did he decided to help us. How?

“That baffles me as well, but he said one thing.

“He said he owes you a lot.
“Owed me a lot. How? As in how? How can a total stranger claim to owe me when you people didn’t know him. And then he decided to pay for the surgery.
“Well (shrugs her shoulder) I think he must definitely knows you. Because on a clear view, a stranger can’t just walk up to someone after hearing about our concerns and then decided to help us. Like, it is so rear.
“Let go to the hospital, I have to see the person immediately.” He stood up and ready to go.
“Wait first, how about where you went to. Are you able to get money?

His sister took cloth for their mother and also pick wrapper for their Younger sister because of the night cold and mosquitoes. They were outside locking the door when Othanel remember the dress he was supposed to burn and he bite his lip nervously.
“I will join you in the hospital soon.
“Why? Are you not going again?
“I have something importantly to do. Don’t worry, you should go. I will come over very soon.
“Are you sure?” She asked frantically doubting him.
“Yes of course.” He replied and she left waving at him.
He entered the room and stood at the entrance to watch her going. When he couldn’t see her anymore, he hurriedly took the cloth and went to the backyard with lighter.
“Othanel watin dey xup na. Why you wan burn your cloth abi rat don chop am?
He smiled at their co-tenant and said the dress are not good anymore.
“I be wan talk say e be say you don hammer ooo when you dey get liver to burn cloth wey you suppose give people wey need am.
The man entered while he set the dress on fire. He waited until it turns into ashes.
Next day.
He didn’t go to the hospital as he said because of the task he needed to carry out in the morning before proceeding to the baba’s place. So he took the handkerchief he bought last night and then poured the liquid the baba gave him and wrapped it with the 200 naira. As he walked along his street where he knows some ma.d man do hove around. He started praying silently within to have the courage to go closer to them.
“Yes!” He muttered happily within when he saw one. “At least there is no people going about this moment so this is the best hour to do it.
When he got to the ma.d woman front. He stopped and acted friendly in other to get her attention.
“Helloooo hiiii mama aunty hello good morning, look at me, hiiii(waving) do you want money “ He held out the money so that she could see it. Just when he was already getting tired with his dramatic display the ma.d woman stood up and he jumped back fearfully.
“I hope she won’t jump on me to bite me.” He said in a shaking voice.
“Give me!” The ma.d woman said while stretching her hand.
“Take” He stretches his shaking hand to her and she collected the money with an awkward laugh which got him panic.
“How much is this? Han han this money is stained already. See, I will use it to buy the whole world. But you (she pointed to him) patient have gain patient have gain patient have gain pa…”
He ran away when he see that she us getting close to him as she speaks.
“Thank God! Thank God!! At last! Yesss I will be rich so rich veeeeeery ricccch.
He entered motorcycle joyfully and headed to the baba’s place.
Few minutes later

“Come inside.” The man answered from inside and he entered.
“Good morning sir. I have come, I have done what you said and here is the handkerchief.
“That is good. Very good.” He collected the handkerchief and smiled. “How about the cloth?
“Ohh baba that reminds me. Something happened when I got home yesterday. I was hug unknowingly by my sister. It was really not intentionally, because I didn’t know she was at home.
“Haaaa!” He shouted and dear gripped Othanel.

“Why your sister.
“I don’t understand Baba. Why looking so serious about it. I thought you said it doesn’t have meaning if eventually I was hug.
“Look at this boy. You have done a terrible thing. It should have been someone else instead.
He look shocked and knee down looking at the baba in a freaking mind.
“You have turned your sister to a living corpse.
“Sir!” He leaned towards him, mapping his lips together in clear hearing to what he said.
