“Moses!”
Pastor Samuel was visibly surprised to see him.
“Why are you here?, aren’t you supposed to be in Dotumu Village?, is anything wrong?, he questioned.
“My mother died, of course, something is wrong, Moses thought but he answered the question.
“Pastor Segun came to the village and relayed the news of my mother death”
“Your Mom, dead, how?”, Pastor Samuel was surprised.
Moses was also stunned.
“You also don’t know, Pastor Segun….”, Moses reiterated Pastor Segun words.
“Pastor Segun!, what a man”, Pastor Samuel sighed.
“It wasn’t your mother that died, it was the mother of someone else bearing your name, you can call your mom to confirm”
Moses was relieved, after hearing his mother voice.

Moses returned to Dotumu village a week later bringing along a letter for Pastor Segun.
“What’s this rubbish?!”, Pastor Segun asked with a raised voice throwing the letter into a waste bin.
“Can you tell me why I am been suspended indefinitely?”, He further inquired.
“I don’t have an idea”, Moses was also stunned.
“You have been suspended?”, Favour asked hiding her excitement.
Pastor Segun has been pestering her into a relationship with him not minding, it was not proper
“Yes, all because of this idiot!” Pastor Segun slammed the bible he was holding on the floor.
“Calm down sir, Ruth said also hiding her excitement.
Not only Favour, he also threatened Ruth to be in a relationship with him.
“Don’t tell me to calm down, Moses, I will show you,I was a Man of God long before you were born!
Since I am leaving in two days time, we will hold a crusade”.
“Crusade?!”
All the youth were shocked.
“isn’t that too sudden sir?”, Moses couldn’t help but asked.
“I agree”, Joshua chipped in.
Bang!
“Both of you shut up!”, Pastor Segun slammed his hands on the table.
The youth kept quiet, especially Moses not wanting to further escalate things.
In the Parlour,
“So you mean your mother is still alive, I am really glad”, Joshua said after Moses narrated the whole thing to them.
“Yes, I am also glad”, Ruth added.
“Yes, that aside, concerning the upcoming crusade, what are your thoughts?”, Favour was thinking about the crusade.
“About that, I feel it is just too sudden, the crusade is tomorrow and we don’t have ample time to prepare, I just don’t think it is right, Moses said.
“Moses, why are you like this?, always against Pastor Segun”, Ugo who hasn’t said anything since said.
“Ugo, you are taking things out of proportion, he just saying we don’t have enough time, Ruth supported Moses view.
“Ruth, Ugo is right, Moses is clearly against Pastor Segun”, Olubo supported Ugo.
“Guys, please let not start, it is 6pm, let us just go and tell people about the crusade tomorrow, is that fine, Papa?, Favour asked bringing calm to the tense atmosphere.
“it is fine, Pastor Segun is a man of God, he must have his reason”, Moses replied.
The youth then set out for evangelism.
“Guys, lets go out for a drink”, Pastor Segun left the house with Kingsley and his friends.
There got to a hut and were seated round a table filled with alcoholic drinks.

The crusade was finally here, with about fifteen people present.
Pastor Segun mounted the makeshift podium and began his sermon, “Because you don’t have a background doesn’t mean your back should be on the ground”.

“Rhema”
“Deep”
Kingsley and co shouted.
All of a sudden, A woman appeared out of thin air clothed in white and red holding a bird in her hand.
She used the bird to smack Pastor Segun cheek.
Chaos erupted.
“Abike ni”(it is Abike)
The villagers in attendance fled for their dear lives, including Moses who was the first to flee.
“Pastor Segun, Pastor Segun, the youth except Moses tried calling him.
But he couldn’t hear a single sound, he also tried talking, to his horror, his lips were moving but no sounds was coming out.
It was now certain, Pastor Segun has become deaf and dumb.

Episode 8
©️ Shedrach BabaIt was noised across the village what happened during the crusade.
“They claim their God is the most powerful, yet Abike who just joined the witches, turned the crusade around, what if Fijabi or Ogundiran appeared, what would have happened”, some of the villagers scoffed.
The crusade which Pastor Segun hosted turned out to be a total disaster, he clearly wasn’t expecting to be handicapped.
He thought he was still in the university, where he could engage in all kinds of immorality but still preach and go unscathed, but he learnt the hard way, university was obviously different from the village, he was eventually going to be dealt with it in the university but he unknowingly fast tracked the whole process.
He forgotten the bible verse which says,
“Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD”
Fijabi and Ogundiran were the most dreaded individuals in the entire Dotumu village, their cruelty been known to both young and old, Fijabi once turned an entire family to tubers of yam just because they appeared five minutes early to a meeting he called for, yes, because they arrived to early.
He felt It was an insult to arrive early when he wasn’t present and it was an even greater offence when you arrive late.
“God, what is happening?, we have prayed and fasted still no response from you,
Why don’t you want to answer?, am I even sure God is hearing me?,”, Moses was feeling discouraged.
After the incident, Pastor Segun was sent back, and the youths were asked to remain which left them puzzled, a Pastor was made handicapped, what could they even do?, They are about to find out.
Moses and the youth started praying and fasting for two months and it seemed as if God doesn’t want to answer their prayers.
“No, I won’t give up now, Moses picked up his bible and began to read.
“Thus saith the LORD, the heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool”,
“Wow, so the whole heaven is God throne, what is a throne?”, Moses started pondering, he saw a chair, and sat on a chair.
“This means, our God is sitting”, Moses saw stool and brought it close, placing both of his legs.
“No, a footstool”, He removed his left leg.
“God is extraordinarily big and large, if the second foot his not on the stool, then where is it?. Moses asked a rhetorical question.
In Kingsley, Olubo and Ugo room
“When will Asuu call of the strike, I am getting frustrated, I cannot wait to leave the village”, Ugo complained.
“I just hope FG and Asuu reach a common ground”, Kingsley sighed.
“I thought this was going to be a breeze but it is turning into something else, the mosquitoes here are demonic”, Olubo also complained.
He had treated malaria about two times last month.
“We would survive, I just need Omo eleje tutu”, Kingsley sighed again.
“Better control your prophetic mantle, do you want to end up like Pastor Segun?”, Olubo advised.
“Speaking of Pastor Segun, see how he was disgraced, and I was thinking he was a man of fire”, Ugo shook his head.
“We all know Beelzebub cannot cast out demons, what were you expecting?, A man that is shoulder deep in immorality”, Olubo hissed.
“Keep your voice down, do you want the others to hear”, Ugo whispered.
Pastor Segun escapades were known only to them, because he sometimes carried them along
“Olubo, we all know he isn’t clean but I was expecting a miracle”, Kingsley also whispered
“Forget, Pastor Segun, God cannot be deceived”

“What is happening, why am I seeing light almost descending on Dotumu Village, who is this person?,
“No, I can see a group of people, they want to deliver Dotumu village,
They dare?!”, Fijabi consulted with the figurehead in his shrine.
“I will kill them all, Ogundiran said some incantations and turned into six black dogs with talisman round about their necks.

Episode 9The youths started evangelism and they noticed the villagers were eager to hear about Jesus, but they were also afraid to be seen with them, considering what happened in the crusade.
The youths were thinking of ways to solve the somewhat difficult problem.
The youth started a vigil but Ugo and his friends were complacent about it.
Moses was having this nudge to start early morning evangelism popularly called, ‘Morning Cry’.
After the vigil, the youth slept but Moses picked up his bible for he couldn’t sleep, he opened the book of Ezekiel 37,
“Thus saith the Lord God; come from the four wind, O breathe and breathe upon the slain”
“Ezekiel commanded the wind to breathe upon them and the dry bones lived”, Moses pondered.
“So that means, the winds contain the breathe of God, it means what we call wind is part of the breath of God.
Oxygen doesn’t give live, Yes, the angels, demons live without oxygen but what do they breathe?”, Moses thought.
“In Acts 17:28a says, “in him we live, we move and have our being”, Moses held the bible walking around the room.
“Even Demons live, move and have their being in God, if God recalls his breath, nothing will live,
Hmmm, I am made in the image of God, why I am scared of witches, demons?.” Moses thought.
The reason he hasn’t gone for morning cry all this while was because of fear, he doesn’t want to be attacked, he has watched too many movies which made him a captive of fear.
Seeing the light in the bible, he decided to use the light,
“God is with me, Moses was excited as he went for evangelism, thanking God for the revelation.

It was 6:15am in the morning and Joshua jolted from sleep sweating profusely, it was obvious he had a nightmare.
“Papa Moses, where is Moses?.
Joshua heard a knock
“Come in”
Ruth and Favour entered the room.
“Good morning, Bro Josh, where is Papa Moses?”,
“I don’t know, I am also looking for him”, Joshua replied
“Maybe is in the other room”, Favour suggested.
They checked around but Moses was no where to be found.
“Are you sure, he hasn’t been used for rituals?”, Kingsley voiced our after hearing Joshua recounted his dream of seeing Moses getting devoured by six dogs.
“God forbid, Kingsley you need to wash your mouth with hyssop, Ruth glared at him.
“You need to learn how to talk”, Favour was visibly displeased by his statement.
“Just saying”, Kingsley shrugged.
“This serious, I mean he cannot just disappear into thin air unless..”, Ugo stopped talking.
“Unless what?!”,
“He might have been initiated into witchcraft”, Olubo completed the statement.
“You guys are just unbelievable!”,
Favour, Joshua and Ruth were annoyed by Ugo and co words.
“I told you guys, he has died”, Ugo shook his head.
“I will miss him, he was a good friend, this world is a wicked one”, Olubo sighed.
“Papa, Moses, gone too soon, course of death, torn to shreds by black dogs”, Kingsley said.
Favour, Ruth and Joshua glared at the three clowns
On his way to the morning cry, Moses saw three dogs approaching and fear gripped him, he wanted to turn back but he could hear the growling of Dogs behind him.
He was surrounded six black dogs with charm round their necks.
“I have have been given power to tread upon serpents, scorpions even dogs and all the power of the enemy, nothing shall by any means hurt me”, Moses uttered visibly shaken.

“Papa Moses”, Ruth tightly hugged him and released him after hearing Kingsley cough.
“Where were you?”
“We have been worried”
“I apologize for not telling you guys, I went for morning cry,”
He then told them of his encounter with the dogs and how they were consumed by Fire.
“This is super story”, Kingsley blurted out clearly not believing Moses
“Africa magic”, Ugo also didn’t believe.
“I am saying the truth, Moses retorted.
“Papa cannot lie, besides righteousness of God cannot lie, Ruth supported.
Kingsley and friends couldn’t believe Moses story because somewhere in their mind, they have learnt to not believe in miracles, based on the things they read online.
“Remember the dream Joshua had?!”, Favour reminded.
“Joshua had a dream?”, Moses asked and Ruth told Moses about the dream Joshua had.
“Hmmm, concerning the dream, God has already given us victory already, I feel God want us to include morning cry into our plans, Moses said.
“I agree, I also had a dream about it too”, Joshua chipped in.
“Bro, I think you need to change your name to Joseph”, Kingsley scoffed.
“Are you sure you are not drinking palm wine?!”
“Yeah, I heard palm wine causes hallucinations”, Olubo added.
“What is actually wrong with you guys, are you actually Christians?”, Ruth expressed her disappointments.
“By their fruit you shall know them, it is obvious”, Favour said.
“What is that suppose to mean?, I am not your mate!, mind the way you talk to me!”, Kingsley warned.
“Calm down guys, I know it might be had to believe but it really happened, it is settled, In the mouth of two or more witness, so you guys will join in the morning cry”, Moses Declared.

Four months passed with the Asuu still on strike.
The youths continued in the evangelism, still they was still no visible progress.
Moses, Joshua, Ruth and Favour were feeling discouraged.
“Why is God still not showing up?”, Moses was lost in thought until Joshua tapped his shoulder.
“Papa Moses, why are you lost in thought, remember we walk by faith and not by sight, things might not be looking like it but soon…
“ Remember Abraham who staggered not at the promises of God by unbelieve, who against hope believed in hope”, Joshua encouraged.
“Remember you shared a revelation on how big and great God is, imagine how big is ears are, his ears are to big not to hear our prayers, we should just keep on praying and pressing”, Joshua added.
“Hmmm, that is true, thank you my brother, this is just what I needed”, Moses was grateful on having Joshua by his side.
Joshua, Ruth and Favour were a major support to Moses, especially Joshua who encouraged Moses from time to time, he was the combination of Aaron and Hur.
“Can we pray together?”
“Sure”

“What is this, I cannot sleep, this words keep playing in my head, “The wicked shall be cut off from Dotumu village”
Earlier in the morning, by 5:30am, She heard Ruth who preached and for a reason Ruth words was stuck in her head
“The wicked shall have no rest, the wicked shall be cut off, repent!, For Dotumu has become the Kingdom of Jesus”.
“What do this mean?, I cannot eat my food,” She said referring to the villagers.
The youths thought God wasn’t working but he has started his works behind the scenes, the death rate in Dotumu village has drastically reduced, the witches could barely meet, and light was gradually overshadowing darkness.

The youth saw a middle-aged woman who appeared to be In distress.
“Who are you looking for?”, They asked.
“I don’t know, the woman replied.
“You don’t know?, Shey woman yi wa Ok?(is this woman alright), The youth thought.
“I just know his voice”, the woman added.
“Is there any problem?”, Moses approached them for he was previously in the toilet.
“This is the man”
The woman suddenly ran to Moses and grabbed his leg.
“Please help me, help me!”
“My daughter has been vomiting blood, I remembered you preaching and saying, “ God can heal the sick and there is nothing too hard for God to do”, were you telling the truth?”, the woman asked.
“Yes ma, the righteousness of God cannot lie, I know Jesus can heal the sick!”, Moses said confidently.
“Please beg him to heal my daughter, she is in so much pain”, the woman was now sobbing.
“Alright madam, please don’t cry”
“Shall we?”
The youth then followed the woman to her house.
On getting to the hut where the woman lived, the woman rushed in.
“Omo mi o!”(my child!), the woman shouted.
The youth rushed in and saw the girl laying in a pool of blood.
It was clear as day, the girl was dead.
“My daughter is dead, can your God bring back the dead to life?”, the woman sobbed holding on to the last thread of hope.
”There is only one way to find out,
“Give me your daughter!”
The woman passed the child of about 13 years old to Moses.
“Abba, Father, to you alone belong all the praise, thank you, for you are about to be gloried”
“Ezekiel in Ezekiel 37, commanded the wind to breathe upon the slain, I in the same manner in the name of Jesus command the wind to bring life into this girl”
“Child come forth!”, Moses commanded.
Immediately, much to the astonishment of everyone present, the girl sneezed and slowly opened her eyes.
From the light of that revelation in the book of Ezekiel Chapter 37, Moses brought a girl once dead back to life proving, God is the same yesterday, today and forever, Hallelujah!.
“The girl came back to life, she came back to life”, Moses muttered under his breath and fainted, the whole situation was to much for him to bear.
“Papa Moses”
“MOG”,
They carried Moses back to the house and met another woman.
“I heard your words this morning, so I brought my blind daughter for healing, The woman beseeched.
“What do we do?”
“I know”
Ruth bent and carried sand spitting on it.
“This is how Jesus did it in John 9:6”, She remembered an account of Jesus healing a blind person in the bible and she decided to do it.
She rubbed the mud on the boy’s eyes, she then used water to wash way the mud.
“Can you see?”, Ruth asked.
“No, ma”, he replied.
“What is Ruth doing?, is it because Moses paid that woman to pretend her daughter is dead, and Ruth thinks she can cure a blind person!, wishful thinking, Kingsley scoffed in his mind.
Ruth was now fidgeting, then she said,
“In the name of Jesus, Boy receive your sight, and you demon of blindness get out!, She commanded.
The boy held his head and screamed, he then fell on the floor, rolling, much to the dismay of Ruth.
“What have I done?”
“I have killed this boy!”, She thought.
The boy stopped rolling and after a while, he stood up.
“I can see!
“You can see”, the mother of the boy asked and the boy replied.
“Yes, I can see!, I can finally see you, my mother”
“How is this even possible?!”
“Am I dreaming?, somebody please wake me up!”
“So the bible is real?”
Ugo, Kingsley and Olubo exchanged glances not believing their eyes while Ruth, Favour and Joshua gave glory to God.
Kingsley and his friends previously thought the miracle Moses performed was staged but seeing Ruth also doing the same, clearly shattered their thought.
They now knew and believed miracles, truly did exist.
