Today I want to share my story, so that you can learn from it
When dating, Never you start what you know you can’t finish, and again also know that there is a big difference between marriage and friendship
Another thing I will ADVICE you is, always speak your mind, don’t pretend that you love something, whereby you will be dying in silent
Any silly behavior you accept from your partner while dating, just know that, it will continue like that, stop hoping that, when you finally married him/her will change
In case you have forgotten, my name is Faith, my boyfriend name is chinedu, but we prefer to call him (chi boy)
When I’m still dating chi boy, I noticed that, he is a mummy boy, her mother control him like a remote, he come from a family of 4, 3 girls and one boy and he is the first born of the family
He stays in a family house but promise me that, immediately we got married, he will rent a house for two of us
The first day he carried me to her family house, all his family members were around, they welcome me, but I noticed that, they are troublesome family, because of the way, they are busy staring at me, you know how, the rich people behave
My boyfriend is into business and he is doing perfectly fine, and also his parents are very Rich, they lived in mansion, their house is so beautiful
On that very day, the mother interrogate me, as if I’m applying for a job
They couldn’t offer me anything, the next thing the mother told me to follow her, inside the kitchen, that I should help in preparing dinner that day
She requested that I cook, oha soup with pounded yam, well cooking is not my problem, atleast I can cook very well, i pound that day, my hands nearly break, but I endure it
I’m already 30, so I don’t want to miss this chance of getting married to a Rich man, ” maybe I’m desperate”
After cooking I serve them the food, they all eat and was happy that I cooked very well
So with that, they accepted that their son will marry me, that I should continue to be a good girl
Chi boy, later dropped me off to my house
So we started making an arrangement for our wedding, but my mother in-law to be, want to take charge in everything, she said, she will be the one to choose our outfit, for traditional wedding, because we want to do everything together on that day
Hehhh!! What kind of mother is this one, always acting superior, how can she be the one to choose an outfit and styles for me, I told chi boy that, I will not allow that, your mother can’t choose clothes and styles for me,. it’s my day and not hers
I was waiting for chi boy, to surpport me,. But instead he supports his mother that, I should obey her mom, that her mother knows the best and she can choose nice outfit for us
Alright I let it slide, my mother in-law choose the outfit for us, me and her Wear the same clothes but different design
I forget to tell you that, chi boy’s father was late.
Well the outfit is beautiful and very expensive
But before the day of my traditional wedding, she asked me to move in with them a week before the wedding.
My people this woman turn me to a house girl, despite that she have two house maid, but she prefers to send me message like kids, and I noticed that, she doesn’t send any of her kids messages
Those ones, I don’t think they can even boil, ordinary hot water, all they do is paint thier nails, Wear expensive wig and clothes, they will go out in the night to club, sometimes they don’t come house that day, and their mother seems nothing wrong in that
This woman will make me wash clothes, even though we have washing machine, she prefer, that I use my hands to wash her clothes, including her children’s own, not like they are kids
The first girl is 25, the second girl is 23, while the last girl is 20, but it’s only the last girl that is different from the rest of them
She wash her clothes by herself and she assist me in the kitchen
The most annoying part of it all, is she will wake me as early as 6am to make breakfast for the family, even when the maid are in the kitchen preparing breakfast, she will ask me to join them, that I shouldn’t just relax like that.
May God have mercy on me, I hope that, after getting married to chi boy, let it not be that, she will refuse chi boy to rent a house, because I can’t continue like this, I will not have a “say” in this FAMILY
I will make sure that, we parked out from this house, I don’t care what mama will say
Or maybe I should, stopped this marriage, because I know chi boy, he is a mummy’s boy, but age is no longer by my side and this family is Rich I can’t afford to loose this golden opportunity, besides everything on this Earth has its own price, let it be the price that I will pay
No marriage is perfect, every marriage have its own challenge
I just use this to power my spirit
The day of the wedding was finally here, and everything went successful, rich men attend the wedding, money full everywhere
Did I forget to mention to you that I made a very beautiful bride 🥰
I’m very happy that, I’m finally getting married, not just that, I married a Rich man, I’m now a Mrs faith chinedu wow🥰, I smiled to myself
I dance like never before, it wasn’t easy, after all the bad bad guys that I meet, infact Many men break this my heart, but finally God bless me with a good husband
Wedding done and dusted, it’s time for me to enjoy my marriage, I can’t wait for us to move out from that house
But something happens on that my wedding night
