CHAPTER TWO
“ I can’t take this anymore Bro. the fact that sister Elonga sent us to school doesn’t mean that she’ll punish us like this.” Complained Nora, for that was her name.
“ But what do you suggest we do? She’s our elder sister. We can’t just abandon her here like this. What will people say?.” Mathieu said in a concerned manner.
“But we have our own families to cater for. Look! Am not saying we should abandon her here. I am simply saying that the expenses are too much.”
“Look who’s talking. Her excellency, lawyer Nora, a mother of two and a wife to a billionaire husband. What exactly are you complaining about?.”
“ Oh common Math, I am literally tired of this”
“ What exactly do you want us to do then. I understand you just fine you know . That’s because I myself have spent a lot in this hospital. My wife has started complaining.”
“ Well, I propose we take her to the village and get maybe one of this traditional doctors to treat her.”
“ Mmm that’s not a bad idea though, but who’s going to take care of her there?. Or don’t tell me you plan on staying in that village till she gets better?”
“ No way bro!!. She has a daughter remember?”
“ Yeah!! That’s True but… well… Okay!! ” he reluctantly agreed. “if you believe she can take care of her then, we will do just that”.
Nora was an immediate follower to Elonga and Mathieu was the last child of Mr and Mrs Batimus. In the course of the story you get to find out how they became so successful, while Elonga’s misfortunes came about. They both decided to go inform the Doctor.
Seated Beside Elonga’s Bed was Hellen. She had been crying through out and the moment she heard footsteps, she Caressed her eyes with her hands to wipe her tears off.
“ My mother, why are you crying?” Elonga who just woke up asked in a deem voice
“Nothing! Mama. I have prayed so hard for God to heal you, but he seems to be occupied with something else”
“ My Child, I will be fine okay. I know God can’t just allow me go like that. What will happen to you?.”
“Mum!! Please get well soon okay?”
Elonga was just twenty two when she got pregnant for Hellen. The guy who got her pregnant relocated abroad and she never heard from him again. Hellen to her was an angel sent from heaven to take care of her. When she was born Elonga decided to name her after her mother late Hellen Batimus. She acted and behave maturely just like Elongas’s late Mom.

CHAPTER THREE
Hellen was as intelligent and excel in Education just like her mum’s siblings. She lived with her uncle Mathieu and his Wife. She took care of their children and equally did some chores at home. Through out her primary school, she was first in everything. Her uncle had always treated her well, but his wife did just the opposite.
After convincing the Doctor to finally sign the release of his elder sister, Mathieu held a meeting which had to take place at his house. Him and Nora stated reasons why they think Elonga should be taken to a native Doctor. And according to them, Elonga’s problem was spiritual and could not be handled by the hospital.
“Hellen will have to go back to the village with her mum so that she could keep watch over her” stated Mathieu.
“ No!!” opposed Elonga.
“ What will happen to her Education ?.”
“ I and Nora will take care of that. I will ask uncle Lucius to look for a good school in the village. She will be registered and will continue there.”
Elonga covered her head down and cried silently. She hurriedly wipe her eyes with her rapper so that no one notices. Her daughter on the other hand had noticed.
“ Common, mum!! I will be fine. As long as I am with you, I will be very fine. I’m a smart girl remember? Even if I had to go to school in a zoo I will still excel.” She comforted her mum who was still not okay with the idea.
“ I know that my child, but you just started secondary school, isn’t that going to disturb you?”
“ Not really mama” Nora responded. “ She’s just a form two student”
At the end of the Day Elonga had no choice but to agree. She had noticed the change of heart and the different treatments her siblings gave her but she paid no attention to it. She had always accepted that Rich people had a way of treating the poor and so she believed it was that same rich effect which made her siblings treated her like that.
After spending few more days in the city, Elonga was sent to the Village with her daughter. Hellen got registered in school , while her mum was entrusted under the care of Linus, their fathers brother.
