CHAPTER 30๐
WRITTEN BY PETER’S GRACIOUS โ๐ป
๐FOR MATURE MIND ONLY ๐
The Queen Mother dropped to her knees, her once menacing demeanor now reduced to desperation. Tears streamed down her face as she sobbed uncontrollably, her voice quivering with fear and regret.
“Iโm sorry! I was blinded by greed and power,” she cried, “I didnโt mean for it to go this far. I thought I could control everything, but nowโฆ”
Pastor Mike stood firm, his gaze steady and full of compassion, yet his authority remained unshaken.
“You have caused great harm, not just to Emeka and Cassandra, but to many others. The evil you have done cannot be undone by mere words of regret,” he said. “But God is merciful, even to those who have strayed so far. Repentance must come from the heart, and you must bear the consequences of your actions.”
The Queen Mother bowed her head, her sobs growing softer. She knew there was no escaping the truth now.
Meanwhile, Emeka began to stir, blinking as though coming out of a deep fog. His eyes darted around the room, confusion clouding his face as if he had just woken from a nightmare.
“Mama… Pastor… whatโs happening?” Emeka’s voice was weak, filled with uncertainty.
“Emeka!” Mama Emeka rushed to her son, tears flowing freely as she wrapped her arms around him. “My son! Thank God you are awake.”
Cassandra stood to the side, her eyes brimming with tears. She had been used as a pawn, a tool of manipulation, but her love for Emeka was real. She had wanted to protect him, but everything had spiraled out of her control. Now, with the truth laid bare, she wasnโt sure if Emeka would ever forgive her.
“Emekaโฆ Iโm sorry,” Cassandra whispered, her voice barely audible. “I never wanted to hurt you. I love you, and I was trapped too.”
Emeka looked at her, the haze slowly lifting from his mind. The words of the Queen Mother echoed in his ears. He had been deceived, lured into a dark world by the one person he thought he could trust. Yet, deep inside, he knew that something more powerful had been at work.
Before Emeka could respond, Pastor Mike raised his hand once more.
“Emeka, you are free,” Pastor Mike declared. “No more chains. No more curses. You belong to God, and no evil power has dominion over you.”
As Pastor Mike spoke, a surge of warmth and peace washed over Emeka. The confusion and darkness that had clouded his mind seemed to evaporate, replaced by a sense of clarity and purpose.
The Queen Mother, still kneeling on the floor, continued to weep. Her power was broken, and her plans lay in ruins.
But Pastor Mike wasnโt finished. He turned to her, his voice filled with divine authority.
“You have confessed your sins before men and before God. Now, you must leave this place and never return. Your evil has no place here anymore.”
The Queen Mother nodded, too weak and defeated to argue. She rose to her feet slowly, casting one last glance at the room, her eyes filled with a mix of sorrow and resignation.
As she shuffled toward the door, Emeka spoke, his voice steady but filled with emotion.
“Wait,” Emeka said. “You said I would go mad in two years. What about the curse? What happens now?”
Pastor Mike turned to Emeka, his eyes filled with wisdom.
“The curse is broken,” Pastor Mike assured him. “The blood that was meant to destroy you has no power over a child of God. You are free, Emeka. Free from the lies, free from the darkness. Trust in God, and He will guide you.”
Emeka took a deep breath, the weight of the past few months slowly lifting from his shoulders. He looked at Cassandra, unsure of what the future held for them, but one thing was clearโhe was no longer under the Queen Mother’s spell.
Cassandra, her face filled with hope and remorse, took a step closer to Emeka.
“I never stopped loving you, Emeka. I just hope you can forgive me,” she whispered.
Emeka looked into her eyes, the pain of betrayal still fresh, but something deeper stirred within himโcompassion. He didnโt have the answers yet, but he knew forgiveness was a journey, not a moment.
For now, the battle was over. The Queen Mother was gone, Pastor Mike had triumphed, and Emeka was free. But as they all stood in that room, one thing was clear: the road ahead would be difficult, filled with healing, forgiveness, and rebuilding the lives that had been torn apart.
