A LOVE TRIANGLE
Episode 9
Annabel couldn’t believe what had just happened. She had never expected Kamzy to kiss her, let alone ask her to be his girlfriend.
As they sat on the rooftop, holding hands and looking out at the view, Annabel felt like she was on cloud nine. She had never felt this way about anyone before.
Kamzy squeezed her hand, bringing her back to reality. “Hey, I have to ask, what made you think of Titi when I asked you out?”
Annabel hesitated, unsure of how to explain. “I just didn’t want to be the rebound girl, I guess. I know you two have a history.”
Kamzy nodded understandingly. “I get it. But trust me, Annabel, I’m over Titi. I was just stuck in a toxic relationship. You’re the opposite of her in every way. You’re kind, genuine, and beautiful. I’m so glad I met you.”
Annabel’s heart fluttered at his words. No one had ever spoken to her like that before.
Well she agreed to date him after all she didn’t have anything to lose ,she had fallen for him and wanted to know where it would lead them,
Kamzy smiled happily when she accepted , he pecked her lips and said “thank you Anny”, Annabel smiled shyly she had never been in a relationship before , but she liked the feeling 😊,
As the sun began to set, Kamzy stood up, pulling Annabel with him. “Want to grab some dinner with me? I know this great place nearby.”
Annabel nodded, still feeling a little dazed . She couldn’t believe she was actually dating Kamzy, the most popular guy in school.
As they walked hand in hand, Annabel knew that she was in for an adventure. She was excited to see what the future held for them.
Over dinner, Kamzy and Annabel talked about everything and nothing. They laughed and joked, enjoying each other’s company.
As they finished their meal, Kamzy reached across the table and took Annabel’s hand. “I’m really glad I met you,” he said, looking into her eyes.
Annabel smiled, feeling her heart flutter. “I’m glad too,” she replied, squeezing his hand.
As they walked out of the restaurant, Kamzy’s phone buzzed. He glanced at the screen and frowned. “It’s Titi,” he said, showing Annabel the screen.
Annabel’s heart sank. What did Titi want?
Kamzy sighed and answered the call. “What do you want, Titi?” he asked gruffly.
Annabel could hear Titi’s shrill voice on the other end of the line. “You think you can just move on from me? You think you can replace me with that nobody?”
Kamzy rolled his eyes. “Titi, we’re done. Move on.”
But Titi just laughed. “You’ll come crawling back to me, Kamzy. No one else can handle you like I can.”
Kamzy shook his head and hung up the phone. “Sorry about that,” he said to Annabel.
Annabel smiled and took his hand. “Don’t worry about it. I’m not going anywhere.”
Kamzy smiled back, relief written all over his face. “Good. I don’t think I could handle losing you.”
As they walked off into the night, Annabel knew that she had made the right choice. She was ready to face whatever came next with Kamzy by her side.
The next day, Annabel woke up feeling refreshed and happy. She had a tiring but fun night with Kamzy, and she couldn’t stop smiling as she prepared for school.
As she and Sophia walked to their locker, Sophia couldn’t help but notice Annabel’s little blushes. “Okay, spill the beans!” Sophia said, grinning mischievously. “What happened with Kamzy last night?”
Annabel just giggled and shook her head. “I’ll tell you later, Sophia. After classes.”
Sophia raised an eyebrow but didn’t press the issue. She knew Annabel would tell her everything eventually.
Throughout the day, Annabel couldn’t concentrate in class. She kept thinking about Kamzy and their time together. She felt like she was on cloud nine.
As the final bell rang, Sophia grabbed Annabel’s arm. “Okay, girl, it’s time to spill. What happened with Kamzy?”
Annabel blushed and smiled, taking a deep breath. “He asked me to be his girlfriend,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Sophia squealed in excitement. “I knew it! I knew he liked you! Tell me everything!”
Annabel laughed and filled Sophia in on all the details, from the rooftop kiss to Titi’s angry phone call. Sophia listened with wide eyes, grinning from ear to ear.
“I’m so happy for you, Annabel,” Sophia said, hugging her friend tightly. “You deserve all the happiness in the world.”
Annabel smiled, feeling grateful for her friend’s support. She knew that she could always count on Sophia to be there for her.
Just as Sophia and Annabel were celebrating, Titi walked up to them, her eyes blazing with anger. “Well, well, well, If its not the poor boyfriend snatcher,” Titi sneered, her voice dripping with malice.
Annabel stood her ground, despite feeling a surge of fear. “Titi, leave me alone,” she said firmly.
But Titi just laughed. “You think you can take Kamzy away from me? You’re just a pathetic little nobody,” Titi spat, her hand reaching out to drag Annabel’s hair.
Sophia tried to intervene, but Titi’s friends held her back. “Let her go, Titi!” Sophia shouted, struggling to break free.
But Titi just slapped Annabel hard across the face. “Stay away from Kamzy, or you’ll regret it,” Titi warned, her eyes flashing with anger.
Annabel’s face stung, but she refused to back down. “I’m not afraid of you, Titi,” she said, her voice shaking with defiance.
Titi sneered. “We’ll see about that,” she said, before turning and walking away, her friends following closely behind.
Sophia rushed to Annabel’s side. “Oh my god, Annabel, are you okay?” she asked, helping her friend up.
Annabel nodded, her face still stinging. “Yeah, I’m fine,” she said, her eyes welling up with tears.
Sophia hugged her tightly. “Don’t worry, Annabel. We’ll get through this together. And Kamzy will protect you, I know he will.”
But Annabel couldn’t shake off the feeling of unease. She knew Titi was not going to give up easily.
As they walked into the school courtyard, Annabel felt a wave of embarrassment wash over her. The students had already gathered, taking pictures and whispering to each other. Annabel knew she was the center of attention, and it made her feel uncomfortable.
Sophia noticed her friend’s distress and took her hand. “Don’t worry, Annabel. We’ll get through this together,” she said, trying to reassure her.
But Annabel couldn’t help feeling humiliated. Titi’s slap had left a red mark on her cheek, and she knew everyone was staring at her.
Kamzy appeared by her side, his eyes blazing with anger. “I’m so sorry, Annabel. I should have been there to protect you,” he said, taking her hand.
Annabel smiled weakly. “It’s not your fault, Kamzy. Titi’s just trying to intimidate me.”
Kamzy’s grip on her hand tightened. “I won’t let her get away with it. I’ll talk to her and make sure she leaves you alone.”
But Annabel just shook her head. “No, Kamzy. I can handle it. I don’t want you to get involved.”
Kamzy looked unconvinced, but he nodded. “Okay, but if anything else happens, you have to promise me you’ll tell me.”
Annabel nodded, feeling grateful for Kamzy’s support. She knew she could count on him to be there for her…
