Many people have been saying how handsome he is. I have never had the opportunity to see him. Ladies were crazy about him cos dude was Rich, handsome and knows how to spend.
I got the opportunity to see him one-day. Dude was handsome as described with his dashing looks and charisma. He’s smile was mesmerizing. He was standing beside his G wagon. I looked at him with coldness in my eyes as Amarachi my lodge mate introduced him to us as the love of her life. He was staring at me with no life in his eyes and I stared back. He knows I’m aware of who he is.
Ben like Amarachi called his name was no human but a ghost. Seriously this girl has been hanging around a ghost all this while. They saw a cute guy with a cute smile but I saw a cute guy whose feet wasn’t touching the ground. How come they can’t see he has no shadow ๐คท๐คท mmmm. Well I wasn’t surprised because he has been around for a long time. I know Ben was not his name. I wondered why he’s here. Is it for revenge or to live the life he never had when he was alive.
After the introduction, Ben left with Amarachi but not without looking at me for some time. He kept looking at me until I entered our lodge gate before he drove off. Probably he thought I was going to tell everyone what he is, if only he knew that I was not interested in his existence.
Ben the handsome ghost with a cute smile and money…. Hmmm. As I entered my room I knew right in my heart that he will come for me and I was ready too for him..

Two days after the encounter with Ben, he visited but that was at night around 8pm. I went to buy Fried yam and akara when I felt his presence. As I looked back I saw him leaning beside a damaged car that has been packed beside our lodge for a long time. I told my neighbor ( Felicia by name) to help me get mine whil I make a call. Immediately she left i moved straight to the Ben.
“What are you doing here”?
Before I could finish the sentence he grabbed me by the neck and placed me on the car. It was dark so no one will ever notice what was happening. His grip on my neck was hurting.
“Get your dead fingers off my neck”
” You don’t seem to be afraid” he asked
” I have no reason to be afraid cos I did nothing to you. Why don’t you go keel whoever that took your life”
“Well I wish it was possible but one-day I will have my revenge.
” Who have you told about me” he asked
” No one. I’m not interested in your existence. You ask as if you don’t already know that I’m speaking the truth”.
That moment he let go of me. One thing with ghost is that they know when you’re saying the truth and when you lie. He looked at me and told me he was sorry for hurting me.
” Why are you here? What do you want with her.
” Your neighbor is coming back. If you want to know everything, why don’t you come to Genesis by 12pm tomorrow and I will tell you everything. If you don’t come then I will visit you inn your room at night and I know you don’t want that. I will be waiting for you my friend”.
After saying this to me he vanished. I began faking a call as Felicia came closer. I lied to her that the call took time and apologized. She handed me my yam and akara and we went inside.
I wonder what happened to Ben and I was ready to hear him out. Wait! Did he just called me”my friend”.
