MARRIED TO HIS MOTHER.
.
CHAPTER SIX

Following the evil deposit which was transferred into Kemisola’s body through the food she was given in the dream, she began to misbehave like she no longer value the marriage anymore. She was been manipulated into falling into errors that would destroy her family.
“Are you telling me that you can’t cook my food” Olamilekan asked in annoyance.
“I have said this times without number today, am not suppose to be cooking for you, are you not having hands and legs, go into the kitchen yourself and do the cooking but as for me Oluwakemisola nothing can move me from this place” She stated as she was filing her nails.

“What had gotten wrong over you, for the past three days now, you have been acting strange, you refused to do anything in this house, you even wake up late from the bed and when you eventually does, the first thing you do is to scroll through your phone all day without doing anything” He queried as he was looking at her visibly annoyed.
“You are just stressing yourself, my dear, if you are feeling hungry. You will move to the kitchen and find something to cook for yourself” She replied him and continue filing her nails.

Olamilekan looked at her for a very long time, his body was boiling in anger but he tried to control himself. He decided to move past her and made a statement.
“Very soon now, mama would come here and cook, if I decided to eat, you will be complaining that am not eating your food. What is your problem?” he questioned and left for the kitchen to find something to eat as he was really hungry.

As he was moving into the kitchen he was stooped by Clara who had been hearing their conversation.
“You look worried and annoyed today, what is wrong” She asked him as he was moving to the kitchen.
“It is nothing, dear, I just need to cool off over something” He replied her forcing himself to smile so as not to create the impression that he was annoyed.

“But your countenance had failed you, you are not like someone that is happy” She said to him still trying to know what really happened even though she was aware of all that was happening in the family.
“Clara, am sorry, if you don’t mind, I Want to get something to eat first, am very hungry” He pleaded with her so that she can allow him to go into the kitchen and find something to eat.
“Sure no problem but I doubt it if your wife has cooked anything since morning, she has been sitting on the couch all day pressing her phone, all my attempts to make her cheerful and find something to cook so that we can eat prover abortive” She explained to him and that angered Olamilekan the more but he was trying his possible best to control his temper.

“Hmm, don’t mind her, I don’t know what is wrong, please forgive her, you know this is her first time of behaving like this” Olamilekan tried to beg Clara not to be annoyed with his wife.
“Annoyed?, who am I, she housed me here, this is her house and whatever she says is final” she replied him and pretended to smile but it was a lie she was bitter within her.
As they were talking the worms in Olamilekan’s stomach started to react and the sound could be heard very loud and clear by Clara who looked at his face.

“I can see that you are really hungry” Clara said looking at him.
“It is nothing, I can handle the situation, don’t mind my stomach it does not show respect…ahh…ahh” he laughed.
“But if you don’t mind, I fried some plantain in the kitchen for myself, we can share that.huh” Clara said to him and went to the kitchen to dish some for him.
“Ehmm, thanks a lot” Olamilekan complement her.
Clara took her own share to the sitting room and was eating using one eye to watch Kemisola was not even bothered. Olamilekan draws the fried plantains with his juice to himself and was about to it when he stopped for some minutes.
“This is disrespect to my wife. How can I be eating from another woman’s pot when she is at home, ehn, I can’t eat this plantain” he said to himself.
“But does that really matter, you are famished and your wife is not even trying to find something for you, if you eat this one, is it not ordinary plantain, after all you are the one that bought it with your money, Clara only assisted in cooking it for you. Mind you she prepared it for herself and not you but she decided to share with you, so there is nothing wrong with you eating from the food” Another spirit within him persuaded him to eat.

“No, I will not eat this, I will find another thing to eat” he said and moved the food back to the kitchen and looked for what he could eat. He found some loaves of bread in the fridge, he took it out and ate it with his juice to his satisfaction and covered the plantain without touching it.
After, he was done eating, he felt relieved as he moved into his bedroom to take a nap.
Clara finished eating and took her plates to the kitchen for washing when she noticed that Lekan did not touch the food.
“This man is really funny, so he did not even touch this plantains” she said to herself.
“Anyways, that is his own problem, I did my best, if he likes he should go to bed hungry, he is not a kid” she added as she washed her plates and arranged them back neatly to the trays.

After some hours, Olamilekan woke up from his sleep, he noticed that Kemisola was not at home, he searched the whole house calling her name but there was no response.
“Where could she had gone to, she did not even drop a note of where she was going to” He said to himself.
As he was moving back into the house, he met Clara who told him about his wife where about.
“She said she wanted to meet with her workers at the shop” she said to him.
“Since when?” He asked.
“For like three hours now” she replied.
“Am sorry for interfering into your family matters but hope all is well between you and your wife” She asked.
“Hmmm, all is well, thanks” he replied her not looking at her side.

“But my spirit says something is wrong, for the past three days now, you guys have not been talking and she has not been doing anything at home like cooking, cleaning among others.” She said to him
“Hmmm, she complained of not feeling too strong, so I asked her to rest for sometimes” he sided with his wife
“But with her utterance to you, it seems you guys are not on good terms” she said to him.
“Please, lets move to another topic and leave that one, all is well with us” he replied and try to bring up another topic when Kemisola walked inside.
“Welcome dear” Olamilekan greeted her.
“Hmmm, hmmm” she replied and moved into the room.

Clara was looking at the two of them but Olamilekan tried to control the situation as he moved into the bedroom with her but Kemisola shouted at him and told him to back off from her or else he would have himself to blame.
“What is wrong with you” Olamilekan asked.
“Just don’t bother me” Kemisola replied and moved away from the room.
“Are we not eating tonight” he asked.
“Tell your wife to cook it for you” She replied to him harshly.
“Are you not my wife” he asked her looking visibly angry.
“Please don’t disturb me” she said and moved away.
Olamilekan was shocked as he sat down looking confused, he did not know what to do, it was in this mood that his mother called in.
“Olamilekan, hope all well” she asked.
“Hmmm yes ma, but” he paused
“Your wife right” she asked him
“Somehow, mama.” He replied.
“Okay, no problem, am coming to your house tonight” she replied.
Before Olamilekan would have rejected the idea but he was already under an influence as his mother had used her familiar spirit to put him under control.
“Whatever, I say today to you Olamilekan, you must hear without going against my wish” Oya Labake said as she finished calling him.
She dressed and move to his house. Clara had over heard his conversation with his mother, she quickly seize the opportunity to cook and prepare a very nice meal for the whole house and dished Olamilekan’s food.

“Don’t just drop my food like you did this afternoon, I was not happy” she replied as she served Olamilekan.
“Am sorry” he replied and in no time ate part of the food but as he ate he noticed that his heart started drawing towards Clara. He tried to put himself in check but the influence on him was so strong.
Clara had applied love portion in his food and with that it started having effect on him.
“Your food is sweet, I really enjoyed it” he complement her.
“That is what you had been missing all these while” she said smiling at him.
“Really, you are such a better cook” he said again.
“Better than your wife, right” she asked
“Hmmm, yes” he smiled.
Clara knew it was already having effect on him so she managed the situation very well. In no time, Iya Labake came into the house looking very annoyed.
“Where is that thing you called your wife” she asked but as she entered Clara ran to meet her and knelt down before her.
“Whose daughter are you” Iya Labake asked her.
“Am a friend to your son” she replied.
“Ehn, ehn that’s good, where is he” she asked and Lekan came out to greet her. She greeted him and asked for Kemisola who was reluctant to greet her.
“Is that how they greet in your father’s house” she asked her.
“Mama, please and please don’t involve my family in this matter” she shunned her mother-in-law.

“You are saying that to me, ahh, Kemisola you have bite more than you can swallow and I will show you who I am” she replied her.
“You can do nothing mama” she hissed while Clara was behaving as if she was trying to reduce the tension but she was only increasing it.
“ahh, you don’t talk to your mother-in-law like that, at least respect her age”Clara said to her.
” please, stay out of this”she shouted at her.
“My daughter just leave her o, she will know I meant business today, she is leaving this house this night” Iya Labake said to her.
“Am not going anywhere, no one can send me away from my husband house, you have your own house” she screamed at her.
“Oh, you will see today” Iya Labake replied while Olamilekan was looking like a dunce.
“Oya,go inside and pick both the smallest and biggest things you have in this house and leave” Iya Labake said to her and just like a child obeying his mother, Kemisola walked in without argument and pack her things, just few things she could carry and moved out. It was like a film to both Clara and Olamilekan who were speechless.
Kemisola packed her clothes in a bag leaving some and moved out of the house going striaght to where no one knows.
“Mama, what have you done” Lekan asked her.

“Just remain silence” she said to him.
“And you, if you don’t behave well you will follw suit” she pointed at Kemisola
“Ahh, no mama” she knelt down.
“Good” Iya Labake said to her.

“Ehnnnz, what are you doing here” Asabi Kemisola’s mother asked her.
“I just want to leave my husband house and start leaving here” she replied.
“God forbid, you will have to go back” her mother said to her.
“No, am staying here” she replied.
“Never, it must not be heard” Her mother shouted.
“You can’t end up like your sisters” she added almost weeping.
