I tattooed my man’s name on my body and he blocked me days later

Kayley Hazel, 24, from Leeds, connected with her former flame online and says their romance blossomed quickly during the four weeks they were together.

Although he was a few years younger than her, the mother-of-one was blown away by the strength of her feelings for the London-based rapper.

She explained: ‘He was the exact same in person, which is rare as people can be different in person, but we just matched so well.

‘I would cook for him, he would come over, and we hit it off and our personalities matched so well too.’

As things were going so well in the relationship, Kayley decided she wanted to get a tattoo of his stage name – something she would never have considered before.

She continued: ‘A week later, we were still chatting, and I thought you know what, this is so spontaneous, but I want to get this guy’s name tattooed on me.

‘I don’t usually like tattoos. I think they’re really ugly and so tacky, but here I was thinking about getting one.’

Before she committed to the tattoo, Kayley asked the rapper for his thoughts and was delighted by his positive response.

The mother added: ‘I told him I was going to get his name tattooed on me, and he was so excited about it.

‘I told him I was getting it on my left rib, and he asked me to film it getting it done. He’s in the rap industry and said he wanted to post me getting it done on his social media so I said, of course. We were both buzzing about it.’

Kayley paid £30 to have the rapper’s stage name inked on her ribcage and says she was surprised by how painful it was.

She said: ‘It’s only really small but the pain was unbelievable. I would say it’s on the same level as giving birth – it was quite horrific.’

Just a few weeks into dating, Kayley got her lover's name inked on her rib-cage. Although he 'loved' it at first, she says they began to grow distant when his ex-girlfriend found out about them

Kayley says she called him to see why he stopped responding to his messages and was unimpressed when he told her that she was just busy with work

At first, Kayley says the man ‘loved’ her tattoo and was ‘happy’ with how it looked. However, their relationship took a turn for the worse in the following days.

She continued: ‘Things started to change when his ex-girlfriend found out about us. I think it put a wedge between us.

‘After a while, the conversations and chatting had died down. After I got the tattoo done, he never saw me in person again, so he never saw the tattoo and had stopped speaking to me

‘I’d known him for a month and a lot had happened in that month, but after a week after getting it done, the conversation and chat died.’

Concerned by his change in behaviour, Kayley says she started calling him to see why he was no longer replying to her messages.

She said: ‘He would say he was busy with work. He made time for me before – I wasn’t even asking for much.

‘I was just not getting anywhere with why he was doing this. He eventually blocked me on everything.’

Unsurprisingly, Kayley was upset by the way in which their relationship ended.

‘I was so upset about it, it took me a good month for it to stop hurting,’ she said. ‘I wasn’t in love with him, but I did really like him.’

Trying to see the funny side of the situation, Kayley posted about her inking on TikTok and joked that she was looking for another man to inspire a tattoo on her right rib.

When she got the inking, Kayley had chosen not to tell anyone in her family about her tattoo – meaning they found out from her social media post.

She added: ‘I posted the TikTok and it got a lot of views, people were loving it.

‘People said I was delusional and others would comment saying ‘girl no way’, they were all negative, but I understand and I get why people say it.

‘I will get it removed, which will kill me, but I need to get it done and get rid of it.

‘No one knows about the tattoo apart from him, a few of my friends and people on TikTok none of my family knew.’
