REZORBLADE IN THE BIBLE

CHAPTER SEVEN.

I woke up one morning to discover myself in the hospital with. Though I had no chains on me, I couldn’t move an inches nor was able to lift a finger up. I had no clue where I was, why I was there and who I was. I was as good as a born Baby. oxygen was connected on my face. I kept on looking and observing the room in great confusion when a nurse worked in.

“ Ohh! You’re awake” she exclaimed in surprise.

“ Let me call the Doctor to Come and examine you” she said as she charged to the door and disappeared.

I waited for few seconds and the Door opened again.

“Wow! You’re finally awake exclaimed the Doctor”

“Take the oxygen off let’s see” she ordered the nurse.

She lifted my arms up and legs and asked if I felt anything? But I couldn’t feel anything so I just nodded in refusal.

“ And what of this?” she pinched my flesh again and again. I just couldn’t feel anything.

“ Can you hear me?, Can you speak?” she asked in fear.

“Yes Nurse I can Speak just fine. “ I responded.

“Please what am I doing here?”

“ Young Man you had an accident which had left you here for five months now. You’re actually very Lucky you were brought here on time.”

“There are people who haven’t been able to survive this same accident.”

“ But Doctor, what happened to me?”

“ You don’t remember what happened to you?” she asked in shock.

“ No..”

“ Besides, I forgot to ask you?, Do you remember who you are ?”

“ I mean your family, maybe your name, Do you have a wife or children, anything at all?”

I stared at her in confusion because I never had answers to the questions she asked and she could of Couse read my facial expression.

“Okay, this is bad, Nurse please call Sister Mercy. Tell her that, The patient she admitted into the hospital has regained consciousness.”

“ I will get back to you later heh” she said to me while leaving the room with the Nurse.

While I was wondering who I was and what happened to me, a Dark skin tone bulky Woman entered my room.

She was dressed in a reverend sister rob and had her rosary, as well as her bible on hand.
“ How are you My Child?”

“ I am fine m’a. Please how did I get here?”

“Are you by Chance my sister? U mean, my relative?.”

“Please what happened to me and what am I doing here ?”

“ Calm down my son, everything will surely fall into place as the Lord wants it to be. Worry not my Child your in safe hands.”

She later told me that she had seen me by the road side creping and entering the road with blood and wounds all over me. That apart from that she had no idea who I was and where I came from. The Doctor came again and examine me and informed her that I had lost my memory, and I couldn’t work for the mean time. She advised that when I get discharged, I should visit the hospital to do check up every after three weeks. I was discharged on a wheelchair, I had no idea, who I was and what had happened to me.

This sister took me to a very big orphanage in town at that time. Though I looked like the oldest, there were actually boys my age who looked older than I was.

I actually discovered that there were so many things I didn’t know, like read, writing and many more common things I couldn’t do. This made me even more worried as I had to wonder what kind of a person I was. So many options came to my head. Was I a farmer, because my hands were hard and strong, Was I a military man or a soldier? Because one of my arms were cut off. I had so much on my mind that day, that I had a sudden sharp
Headache.

I was fast in learning and knowing much. Months had passed and gone. I had left the wheelchair to walking on crutches. I started schooling. I had private Classes with the sister Esther. When I could read and write and solve well they promoted me to a bigger Class. That was how my educational life was made easy . I went to school, study the Bible and I gradually started liking the gospel. I was given the opportunity to preach ones in a while to the younger ones. I was equally given the opportunity to pray with most priest and help them. Once I could work, I was advised by a priest to join the priesthood. He said I was very committed and very much hard working. He also advised me that if I feel like I wouldn’t be able to keep up with it then I shouldn’t venture into it.
