Bella,my wife (Final chapter)

I wore a jean trouser and red polo as I stepped out to pick Ruby at the junction.

When I got to the junction, I waited for more than 10 minutes before Ruby arrived with her small bag.

I guess she packed few clothes so that she will spend some days with me. She was beaming with smiles when she saw me waiting for her while sitting down on the bonnet of my car.

She rushed towards me and embraced me.

I grudgingly hugged her.

“Emmy, what happened? What brought about the sudden change of mind?”, She quizzed.

“I just thought about everything you’ve done to win my heart all these months and I realized that you love me deeply. I just want to give us a chance”

“Awwwn, you’re so sweet. Don’t worry, when we get home, I will spoil you si.lly”, she chuckled as she hopped into the car.

“I can’t wait”, I replied her.

When we got to my house, she was so excited as she kept hugging and touching me.

As I knocked at the door, my wife stepped out of the house dressed as a maid.

I was dumbfounded.

“Good day Oga… welcome”, my wife said as she greeted me with her head bowed down.

What was my wife up to? Why was she dressed in a maid’s cloth?”, I thought.

She rushed towards Ruby my female colleague and grabbed her small bag from her.

“Good day madam. You’re highly welcome”, my wife greeted her.

“Handle those bags gently. I have costly things there that you can’t afford in your life”, Ruby smirked.

I lost my cool and wanted to reprimand her for talking to my wife in such manner but my wife gave me a signal with her eyes.

“Anyways, you’ve a good maid although I won’t be needing her when I eventually get married to you”, Ruby said as she wrapper her arms around my neck.

I played along.

My wife took her bags inside the house as she prepared a sumptuous meal for us at the dinning table.

She served Ruby and also served me.

I knew my wife was boiling in anger but she didn’t show it. Ruby who was overly excited didn’t even notice how we were communicating with our eyes.

My wife stood there as we ate our food. She didn’t say a word.

“Madam, do you like the food”, Bella asked her.

“Why would you ask me such a question? Do I have to answer to you? C’mon! Go and get my bag for me”, she shouted at my wife.

I was angry because I didn’t understand the type of game my wife was playing.

My wife ran into the room to get her bag while we continued enjoying our meal.

Suddenly, my wife stepped out in a dazzling red short gown with a high heel shoes to match.
She catwalked to the dinning table and sat down…

“Can someone tell me what’s happening here! Why is your maid dressed like that”

“Sorry to say this! She’s my lovely wife”, I said as I walked closer to Bella and kissséd her passionately.

Ruby wasn’t herself anymore. She was shivering and it was written all over her. She stood up and made her way to leave my house but my wife said,

“Sorry dear! You can’t leave the house because I have locked all the doors and the key is with me. Sit down, I want to have a little chitchat with you”

Ruby was trembling with fear. She sat down immediately as my wife continued.

“What if I tell you that I Poisoned the food I gave you and you have limited time to live? ”

Ruby fell on the ground and started weeping profusely.

“Madam, please forgive me. I will never go close to your husband ever again if you ever let me go”, she pleaded.

“Just thank God that I am in a good mood today. You would have been a de.ad woman today. The next time I see you come close to my husband, you won’t live to tell the story”

My wife unlocked the door and ordered her to leave. Ruby picked her small bag and ran away from my house.

Bella my wife turned towards me, “Sweetie, why are you staring at me like that?”

I bursted into laughter. I couldn’t believe that she could pull such stunt.

“You’re such a good actress”, I retorted.

She came towards me and hugged me as she dragged me up.

“Let’s go into the room so that I can feed you excessively”, she giggled as we rushed into our room.
