Three days later my husband called me that he arrived his destination successfully and has resumed work.
I thanked God for his safe return🙏
After the first call of his successful arrival, he made sure to always call me twice or more with lots of romantic messages everyday.
One year later my door bell rang, it was a courier guy,
He said 👇
“good evening ma, I brought this package that was sent in from America by one mr Tony Ezemelu to his wife in this address…. Are you Mrs Stella Tony Ezemelu?”
Yes I am, I quickly answered
“Okay, sign here and take your package”
As soon as I signed the paper, and said thank you,
he quickly walked away.
But I kept imagining why my husband didn’t tell me about the package he sent, even when we spoke few minutes ago🤔
I carried the big box to my room, broke all the seals and opened it, I saw few beautiful dresses on top, box of jewelries and 4 android phones.
As I brought the cloth, jewelry box and phones out, I couldn’t help but shouted Jeeeeeeeeeesus….
My sisters ran into my room from theirs with the fear that something bad had happened
“Sister sister what is it, we heard you shouted Jesus as if something has happened” they asked curiously
I just laughed at their facial expressions and said
go back to your room girls, nothing bad happened..
When I finish what I am doing, I will gist you girls.
As they were about to leave, I asked
So you people didn’t even hear when someone rang our door bell? They said
“No sister, we didn’t hear o…. we were sleeping but your shout woke us up”
As they left, I opened the box again
But this time I didn’t shout, I just jumped and danced silently at what was left inside the box then as I was about to close it,
I found a note by one side of the box which reads👇
“My baby, my love, my heart and my world,
The queen of my dynasty……
If you are reading this,
that means you must have gotten my surprise,
I am sorry for not telling you about the package when we spoke on phone but that is because I wanted it to be a surprise..
As you must have seen already,
There are 4 phones inside the bag, keep the best one for yourself , send two to your parent in the village then give one to your sisters at home so that you can easily be communicating with them anytime you are away from them.
The clothes and jewelries are all yours, I just hope you like them?
As for the plenty money under the bag,
change them to naira and buy the land I told you to start searching for before I left, keep some for your upkeep and then use the remaining ones to start work on the site
Hopefully before you exhaust the money, I will send another one for the completion of the house so that you can move in before my next visit.”
Tears of joy dropped down my cheeks after reading the content of his note,
I am indeed so blessed to have found such a loving and caring husband.
I picked up my phone immediately and tried Calling him but the number couldn’t connect.
Later that night, he called me,
Then I seized the opportunity and expressed my love for him,
how excited I was to receive his package and how much I appreciate his presence in my life.
We both talked happily and kissed each other over the phone before he hung up then I went to bed.
This is the first time I am seeing so much dollars💵 at once,
it is even in my possession, so I couldn’t afford to let it go like that….
So I allowed the money to rest in my closet for one whole month before taking it to bogobiri and got it changed to naira!
