Once in Love episode 15

Once in Love

Episode Fifteen

“The same Kemi that came to my house to say those things, why didn’t Anna tell me this beforehand?

I would have strāngled her with my bare hands,” Mr. William thought, tapping his feet on the ground. He was already vibrating.

Anna knew the kind of husband she married; that he might want to rīp Kemi apart, and she might not see her daughter again.

William was no longer in control of himself, he had even forgotten that his father-in-law was sitting close to him.

He wanted to go out of the coffee shop to find Kemi.

As he was getting up from the chair, he heard a voice, “Where are you going to?” Then he remembered he was sitting with someone, he just said, “Sorry, sir.”

And then Anna’s father continued, “We don’t just get up and do things like that without a plan. I understand that you are āngry, but you won’t just get up that way.

We need to come up with a plan if you want your daughter alive,” Anna’s father suggested, and William just nodded.

He was already out of ideas as ānger had taken over him. It was a good thing he did not see Kemi at that point because it would have been a story for another day.

“I’m sorry, sir, I almost walked out on you.

I’m not thinking straight at this point. I feel so sorry for my wife at this point because I know how vulnėrable she can be.

As for my daughter, I just wish she was not part of any of these things going on right now,” he apologized. Anna’s father completely understood what he was going through at that point and the fact that William was just acting like a man.

“Please, sir, I would love to see my wife.

I know she might not want to see me. I want to apologize for putting her in this situation because I know it is because of me that it is happening.” William said in a low tone, keeping a pitiful face.

He had already concluded in his mind that even if his father-in-law would grant him permission to see his wife, she might not want to see him.

He bowed his head after speaking, waiting for a response.

“Even if I would want to let you see Anna, it will not be today. Come to the house tomorrow, and you will see her. I will think about how we can put an end to this problem and get back to you tomorrow,” Anna’s father said while getting up to go.

He stretched his hands to shake William, who just shook him casually.

He would have preferred a hug at the moment, so he thought, even when he did not say it out. That was just a problem about being a man, he needed to act strong even when he was weak at the moment.

After the handshake, Mr. William offered to drop his father-in-law at his house, but the man politely declined, “I will find my way home,” he said this time in a calm tone.

William had to watch him leave until the man boarded a cab and was out of sight before he entered his car and drove off.

He was lost in thought in the car that he almost būmped into a taxi driver. “Oga, look road! If you no sabi drive, carry that thing go keep for house,” the man rōared from the other end, and William būried away.

He was glad he did not hit the man. He just prayed to get home safe because he was not even concentrating on the road.

The thought of Kemi being responsible for everything was just overshadowing him like he was having a nightmāre. He needed to explain things about Kemi to his wife, and he also needed to come up with a plan to save his daughter.

William finally got home and sighed with relief at the gate.

He honked, and the gate man opened the gate. He drove in and came out of the car, giving a sād look. At least it was getting late, and as he closed his eyes, he would wake up to the next day to go and see his wife.

He needed to think everything through. As he went inside the house, which was so quiet, no Isabel to play around and no Anna to welcome him or even help him remove his suit like she used to.

The house was no different from a grāveyārd; it was just as if no one was living there again. William sighed and went into the bathroom for a shower with the words of his father-in-law playing in his head, “Kemi kidnāpped your daughter.”

He could hear Isabel calling his name, screaming for help; everything was just playing in his head.

“I will save you, my baby,” he said repeatedly to no one in particular, as the words echoed back to him like the room was completely empty even with the furniture in the house.

After tossing on the bed, he was finally able to sleep. He woke up from a nightmāre, “Isabel, Isabel,” he scrėamed as he looked around, then he suddenly remembered that he was dreaming, it was a bad dream.

“No, my daughter will not diė. I will find her tomorrow. I will leave no stones unturned. I must find Isabel,” he cried.

“It was just a dream,” William said, breathing heavily. He dreamt that Isabel was kīłłėd, he walked towards a lonely path and saw her in a pōōl of blōōd lyīng lifėless.

For the first time in his life, William went on his knees and prayed.

He had never joined his wife to pray; he always thought her prayers were enough to stand as coverage for him.

But it was a different case at the moment because Anna was not around to pray, and the dream he had was frightėning.

He did not have any other choice but to pray.
